I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #491 - Dolphin Level Achieved, and More Bots Working Again! - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Thursday, November 30, 2023

I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

I did it! Yesterday in the early evening my time I did my giant powerup to dolphin level for the December 1st #HPUD, which I described in detail in My Mega Powerup to Dolphin Level! - December 1st HPUD - Hive Power Up Day. In one fell swoop I grew my Hive Power by a huge 88.34%! After so much time, focus, and patience to reach this goal, I've got to say that I have a strong feeling of accomplishment, satisfaction, and relief now that it is finally done!

As soon as I published my #HPUD post, I updated my HP delegations, boosting all the existing ones, and adding a few new accounts. In my excitement I made a mistake and delegated a bit too much, 53.59% instead of the 50% that I had intended. It's not a huge differnce, so it's not a big deal, but I felt silly nonetheless. I'll just let me HP grow a bit more, allowing my delegation percentage to drop back down below 50% again, before further delegations.

One really cool thing that happened on my powerup-to-dolphin-level day is that the Cartel curation bots began paying out again, after being broken for almost a month and a half! Because they hadn't paid out in so long, these first payments were quite large makeup payments. It was a really great surprise on such a special day! Now there's only one bot that I know is still broken, the CTP tipping bot, though a few are still having issues from time to time, like @lolzbot not tipping or paying out LOLZ. Hopefully everything will be sorted out very soon.

With dolphin level finally achieved, my new short-term main focus is to reach orca level, which starts at around 57,186 HP (as of today - the HP requirement for each level continually rises, and can be check quickly in @arcange's excellent daily Hive Statistics Reports), so I only have about 51.4K HP to go...🤣 I laugh, and yes it's very daunting, but I'm absolutely certain that I'll reach it! I'm definitely going to need a new strategy to reach that level, and whale level after it, however!

On my special powerup day, as I mentioned in the previous version of this post, we had a huge amount of rain over the course of two days, which made various things here somewhat more challenging. First off, given that I live in an open-air bamboo yurt with a tarp roof, most things got wet inside the Flow House, even my bed unfortunately. I was able to keep my technology (phone, computer, and router) safe, super thankfully, and also keep the internet functioning. Since yesterday was so rainy and wet, I didn't take photos for this post until this morning.

The only work on the land that I was able to get done yesterday was to collect a wheelbarrow full of Melochia leaves with my machete for this morning's cow-milking food, and to continue cleaning the Landing a bit more. Dark, wet, and chilly weather just isn't very inspiring for working outside, that is for sure! After working, I strained out kefir for my kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao blend (which Sperry has been drinking too, which is why I pour it out every day now), chopped an older 'shaker' coconut for when I make my superfood fire coffee in the mornings, made myself some food, got food for my kitty friend, then I headed back to my somewhat soggy Flow House to do my giant powerup, write and publish my #HPUD post, then get to my usual evening round of Hive tasks and catching up on notifications. I was able to get everything done on Hive just after 11PM, and after a short round of token management, I went to bed (on the less-wet side...🤣). I slept pretty well until about 5:30AM, which is when I did some quick token management, and some catching up on notifications, before finally getting out of bed around 8:30AM to make my superfood fire coffee.

Today started out rainy, and as I was taking photos, the sun began to peek out from behind the clouds. Presently it's bright and sunny, after three days of rain. Very unusually, when I had to take photos, and wash my bedding after it got soaked, I wasn't feeling very good at all, so doing various necessary tasks sure wasn't very enjoyable. I had a headache, I felt somewhat weak, and I could feel my body's temperature regulation a bit off. The washing machine in Power Sharing broke again, so I had to take my comforter down to Tutu's to wash, which unfortunately also didn't work (the comforter is too big), so I ended up washing it by hand in the shower area. All bedding is now finally basically washed and dried, and the sun is drying everything out, which gives me a huge sense of relief!

As I write this now, I feel much better, and the drier and sunnier weather is really wondeful after three days of dense clouds and on-and-off intense rain. It's just after 1PM, so it's a good time to end this post for now, so I can go retrieve my comforter from the dryer, get to my afternoon round of essential Hive tasks, and then put my focus on land work in the later afternoon.
