I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #431 - The Heart of Hive - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Sunday, October 1, 2023

I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

The core, or heart, of anything is the most important, for that's the seed from which everything else springs. If the heart of something is not in the right place, then no matter how good it looks superficially, the fruits that it bears will be be poisonous. Likewise, if the heart is in a solidly good place, the surface aspects of something are far less important, as they can be adjusted over time.

I bring up this subject of the heart because to me it's truly the most important thing, whether it's regarding an individual or a blockchain. If the heart is good, my support and loyalty will be solid. My belief in, and my love and passion for Hive is so strong exactly because the heart of this Blockchain Ecosystem is deeply beautiful to me.

What is the heart of Hive? The core freedom-and-sovereignty-driven operating and organizing principles, and of course the amazing community, which includes the incredible developers that build the infrastructure that we use every day. There are so many brilliant, kind, generous, creative, and passionate freedom-and-sovereighty-loving people on this Blockchain that, because of their great love and belief in Hive and its potential, contribute in innumerable ways, and give their all for its success. That is the radiant heart that lies at the core of Hive.

This beautiful heart is exactly why Hive has such a strong, passionate, and loyal community of people, and over the course of years. That was the impetus that gave rise to Hive in the first place, during the hostile takeover of the Steem blockchain. Yes, the technology is truly excellent, but it's the heart that is that is most important, always.

Even though I was able to stay caught up on my Hive notifications and tasks fairly well yesterday, I still stayed up way too late putting together and writing My Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update: All Three Weekly Goals Surpassed Again, and HIVE Powered Up for #HPUD!, which I didn't get publish until after 1AM. Definitely too late, as I feel it today for sure.

I potted up some bamboo cuttings for Ano in the late afternoon yesterday, as well as doing some clearing with my machete around the new cashew trees that @aukuna and I had planted a couple days ago. Sundays are often more Hive-centric than most other days because of the time and attention that I have to give to compiling and writing my Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update, so it was good that I got some work on the land done.

I didn't sleep enough last night, I have a bit of a headache, and I feel pretty off at the moment, so I'm going to end this post for now. I still need to get a little catching up done on Hive, then I think I just need to lay down for a while. Hopefully I'll be able to stay caught up on Hive, and get some land work done later. I deeply appreciate you all! Until tomorrow! Onward and upward, joyfully together! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
