Poppies!
In general, I do not believe those who claim to sometimes receive help, help from somewhere, from above, from below (?), I am referring to help received from an unseen entity. Some say they know who this entity is, others call it the Universe, or God, and others call it coincidence. I am one of those who think more about coincidence because I do not see why the Universe, God, or whatever knows what entities would want to help me.
And yet, the coincidences are too many... to be just simple coincidences!
So I started this story quite confused, and now I am even more confused. But to explain: I have been away from Hive for about two months. Not because I wanted to.
Health problems...
I remember the times when I didn't have time to write and I wished to get sick, to stay at home and have time to write.
The saying is true: Be careful what you wish for, it might come true!
In my case, it did. I have back and spine pains that prevent me from sitting, so I have to lie down more in bed. Now I have time, but I can't write. In fact, with some effort, I could, but I seem to have lost my motivation. For almost two weeks, I have kept promising myself that I will start writing again and keep postponing.
However, today something happened. I opened Hive and read a fresh post, less than an hour old, written by @mipiano, announcing that she envisioned a new community.
I am in love with summer; it has been my favorite season since I was a child, and even though it is harder to bear now, it will remain my favorite forever.
I jumped into the community as fast as I could, and I am trying to write with my laptop on my knees. My throat hurts a bit, but I think I will manage!
I wonder now: the fact that I opened Hive today and saw @mipiano's post - is it help, is it an encouragement received from the Universe, from God, from hard-to-define entities, or is it just a coincidence?
A question without an answer... This is how I ended up writing about summer, which I love and which I believe I have stories and beauty to show, and I have hundreds of photos.
I sit and think how foolish I am. I considered myself uninspired, now, in the middle of summer. It took @mipiano's help. Thank you!
Poppies!
Poppies are the messengers of summer for me, just as snowdrops are the messengers of spring. Snowdrops are universally recognized as heralds of spring, but about poppies, I don't think people see them from this perspective.
I, as a true lover of summer, am also a lover of the sea. The more a lover of the sea, the more a lover of the sea I am, as I have no sea near my home.
I started traveling to the sea after I turned 18. Generally, and eagerly, the trip to the sea started from the border of the spring-summer seasons, when the color of poppies reddened the fields I saw on the way to the sea. Thus, poppies mean to me the heralds of summer.
When I see the first blooming poppies, I start preparing for the trip to the sea! If someone new is wandering through this blog, I must tell them that I live in Romania, which is neighboring Bulgaria to the south. Both Romania and Bulgaria have access to the Black Sea. The first part of my life at the sea I spent in Romania, and in the second part, I went to the sea in Bulgaria.
Why? Someone might ask.
Bulgaria, being further south, has a more pronounced Mediterranean climate than Romania. It must be said that Bulgaria borders Greece. Greece...
Besides the Black Sea, Romania and Bulgaria have something else in common. A region called Dobrogea in Romanian or Dobrich in Bulgarian. I cross this region to get to Balchik, my eternal destination by the sea.
It is a sparsely populated region, with vast plains and wide horizons, a place where summer is at home and where I would have liked to grow up.
It is a place where poppies are the masters of the fields!
The first summer story was more of an introduction to the atmosphere and an explanation for what was to come.
I like to tell about my travels and share them with anyone who can and wants to read. I like it when I write, I remember. When I see the photos, I teleport with my mind and relive the beautiful moments once again. Summer Vibes!
Hi @, well you guessed that someone new could read your post. Sorry to hear about the physical problems you mention. The text is very touching remembering those summers gone by. The pictures of the poppies are beautiful.
The text also brought back memories. I grew up surrounded by fields and red poppies from spring to autumn.
Thank you for sharing these experiences.
A big hello to you.
Hi, glad to connect.
Thanks for reading, I'm glad to see that.
I'm glad to have awakened your childhood memories and realize how special it was to grow up in such a beautiful place. I guess you like summer too!
Hello again @bluemoon, I live in a very different place from Bulgaria. I live in a very dry and hot place in summer, in Madrid (city). That's why I remember very well the contrast of the red of the poppy with the green in spring of my childhood. Now those fields are under buildings.
In Madrid the two seasons that I like the most are spring and autumn... I like summer, but it's better if I can get out of Madrid for a few days.
It was a pleasure to meet you.
Happy summer!
🙌
Hello @bluemoon!
I can't explain to you how glad I am that this Summer Vibe already inspired you to write your post, to come back to Hive with your favourite season, summer. And poppies, they are the heralds of summer, you are right. You know, when this idea came to my mind this weekend, so just two days ago, hahaha, among the things I thought there was also a picture in my mind very similar to the ones you showed, plains with fields, crops, wild flowers, fluffy clouds in the sky...! Coincidence or not, I am glad to see you got the motivation today! And I do hope your health improves, as it many times affects our mood! With summer and poppies dancing in the wind, you have to get better. 😉
Thanks, @mipiano!
I was probably coming back at some point with a post, because I missed Hive and those of us who are closer to each other. I'm so glad Summer Vibes is proving that it can do good deeds, such as my case.
I think it is always the most difficult to start over in cases when we have little breaks. At least it is for me, but later it is easier to get back into the habit of writing. Hive is like a family we miss when we are not around 😉
You said much better than I what I believe too!
I am very happy that you built this tag and community.

You know what? Coincidences don't exist, but synchronicities do, and this is one. It's also true that you have to be careful with what you wish for, what you think and what you say, because depending on what it is, it will work in your favour or against you, but the important thing is that when you wish for something, you do so in as much detail as possible, otherwise the universe will give you what is available... being ill so you can write? You didn't clarify what kind of sick. Always clarify, and the universe will respond.
Now... I know you love the sea, summer for going to the sea, and poppy fields. The sea is as representative of summer as it is of life, because water is life itself. I hope you can go to the sea soon. And I hope that everything that hurts heals. A big hug!

I liked your advice on how to make a wish. It's so much like making a promt for AI.
Thanks for the advice and wishes, I wish you a beautiful and bearable summer too!
Well... something like that, details, details, ha ha ha. I hope to see you here again soon!
Greetings I hope you get better soon, it happened to you like me, as soon as I saw the publication of @mipiano I joined the community, in fact at this moment I will write my post with the intention of publishing it tomorrow hahahahahaha, it is a very good space to talk about the summer.
Sorry, friend, this corner of good vibes is so exciting that I got the comments mixed up. Your poppies are beautiful. Welcome summer and welcome you!
Thank you, @nanixxx! It was nice meeting you in this summer, which I hope will bring us many good things.
I like to think that the good energy this newly launched community has left with you will help you feel better, and that you’ll soon return with those posts that do you so much good.
When you go a while without writing, the mind grows sluggish.
Yes, I believe in the Universe and its quiet magnetism to draw things towards us. I believe in the power of thought... and I know that wherever a kind thought is placed, wellbeing will follow.
Whatever force is out there — it doesn’t wish for us to suffer. Quite the opposite. It gently leads us down roads that can be difficult to grasp at first, but which eventually reveal something we were meant to understand.
And of course, there are fundamental laws in life — birth, death… those we cannot alter. They simply are. We must learn to accept both the good and the hard.
But rest assured: as long as we remain sound of mind, and as long as we direct our thoughts and emotions with intention, we are channelling power.
The summer season is a favorite for everyone who loves flowers and plants. At this time, they all grow well and we see every color in them.
I'm glad it is.
Nice picture...
