Istanbul, Turkey
To (hopefully) enter the contest in a correct way, I share an image I took last week in Istanbul from the Galata Tower in the old part of the city. Even the weather wasn't the best I still had fun capturing some moody images. Cheers!

That day I went to the tire shop as I had to change tires.
While waiting outside for my turn, suddenly I got some company.
This dude came to check upon me and see if he can help me change the tires and also suggested some advice on how to get a discount by this tire shop.

Cities sometimes surprise us with hidden life and species.

My entry today, for the theme "Architecture", is this amazing piece of art, this amazing bridge over Tagus river, in my city, Lisbon, Portugal. Vasco da Gama bridge.

Here is my contribution to the contest

Photograph from my recent trip to Valencia. The City of Arts and Sciences, a complex that occupies what used to be the old Turia riverbed. In the picture the Palacio de las Ciencias, a work of the controversial architect Calatrava.

Yes, it is indeed. The whole complex is very photogenic and has a lot different of points of view where you may point and mount a nice composition.

That's a wonderful modern, I guess a business center building in the city center of the coastal city of Burgas. I can't say for sure whether this is a residential building too, but it could be, since there are some very cozy flower pots on some terraces.

Although I have photographed quite a few modern buildings in this city, this is the building that I have chosen to present today for this contest.
