Traveling in parts III | PhotoFeed Contest - Black & White Photography Round 115 [ENG/ESP]

As a child, airplane propellers bled on my face.
Blades in a smile,
confrontation and the antithesis of the unreal.

I discovered that clouds don't have rivets
nor do they meet aerodynamic standards to float.

They float because someone said they can't fly,
someone who doesn't know anything about blades,
much less butterflies...

I had blank sheets of paper
and I built paper airplanes.
Today,
I chase butterflies
so they don't escape
over my face.

De niño tuve hélices de aviones que sangraron sobre mi rostro.
Aspas en la sonrisa,
confrontación y antítesis de lo irreal.

Descubrí que las nubes no tienen remaches
ni cumplen normas aerodinámicas.

Flotan porque alguien dijo que no vuelan,
alguien que no conoce de aspas
y mucho menos de mariposas...

Tuve hojas en blanco
y construí aviones de papel.
Hoy,
persigo mariposas
para que no escapen
sobre mi rostro.
