White

White is the tone of the chromatic spectrum in which all colors are present, i.e., it is the color of sunlight that has not been broken down into the different shades of the spectrum. Some elements known with this tonality are milk, snow and cotton.

The color white is generally associated with purity, innocence, reconciliation or peace, while in some Eastern countries, such as China and India, it is linked to mourning.

These small white flowers, but also pinkish ones, can be found in the flower boxes outside the back of the building where I live.

As I did not know their name, I looked for information on the internet, and I found that the shrub to which they belong is called Catharanthus roseus, native of Madagascar and has as its habitat the tropical and sub-tropical zones of the planet.

As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.

Blanco es el tono del espectro cromático en el que se encuentran presentes todos los colores, es decir, se trata del color de la luz solar no descompuesta en los diferentes tonos del espectro. Algunos elementos conocidos con esta tonalidad son la leche, la nieve y el algodón.

El color blanco está asociado generalmente a la pureza, la inocencia, la reconciliación o la paz, mientras que en algunos países de Oriente, como China e India, se encuentra vinculado al luto.

Estas pequeñas florecillas de color blanco, aunque también las de un color rosáceo, se encuentran en las jardineras exteriores de la parte trasera del edificio donde vivo.

Como desconocía su nombre, busqué información en internet, y obtuve como resultado que el arbusto al cual pertenecen se llama Catharanthus roseus, originario de Madagascar y posee como hábitat las zonas tropicales y sub-tropicales del planeta.

Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.
