PhotoFeed Contest - Cityscape Photography Round 154 / Ceiba in transformation

This time, I present a ceiba tree (ceiba pentandra) in transformation, coming out of its leaf-shedding stage and entering its flowering stage. It is a tree that grows at high altitudes, with a very wide trunk and very extended branches. It is native to Mesoamerica, but also occurs in South America, as well as in tropical areas of Africa and Asia.

The photos I am sharing with you are of a specimen located on the banks of the Manzanares River (in my city, Cumaná, Venezuela), where several specimens can be found, refreshing the environment and providing plenty of shade, as well as attracting attention with their unique beauty.

Here is the link to the contest.

What a magnificent and beautifully timed observation of nature's cycle! The transformation of the Ceiba pentandra you've captured is one of the most spectacular visual narratives in the tropical world. Thank you for sharing this glimpse of a truly majestic tree.
