Happiness by the Water in Moret-sur-Loing (Part 8 - End

As advised (see previous post), we are making a stop in Saint-Mammès. The town is historically linked to river navigation. It has long been an important center for the bargemen and sailors who navigated the Seine and the Loing. This maritime tradition is still present today.

However, overall, we were disappointed. It's fair to say that Moret-sur-Loing had set the bar high!

Comme on nous l'a conseillé (cf. post précédent), nous marquons une halte à Saint-Mammès.
La ville est historiquement liée à la navigation fluviale. Elle a longtemps été un important centre pour les bateliers et les mariniers qui naviguaient sur la Seine et le Loing. Cette tradition maritime est encore présente de nos jours.

Mais, globalement, cela nous a déçu. Il faut dire que Moret-sur-Loing avait mis la barre haute !
