PhotoFeed Contest - Macro Photography - On the edge of a blackhole

Hahaha if you are here to find some interesting celestial object or anm actual balckhole, I am so sorry you are in for some dissapointment. Because I am not an astronomer, although I also really like to watch any documentaries about it. But I am merely just a macro photographer who really love to exxagerate little things to look even bigger.
But that is from our perspective as a human, but for this beautiful little lady birds the hole in the middle of this leaf is certainly a blackhole, and it is living on the edge of that blackhole.
Of course because of its wing, it will never falls or sucked into it, but it is so nice to see it on this shot, with that position on the rim o the hole. if we are as a human really that close to the blackhole, will we be ever live or will be gone in an instance. hahah

Haha, as Mick said this type of lady bug eat aphids instead of the leaf, actually the beneficial one for the gardener and farmers.
although with the way I photograph it, it does look like it eating on the leaves.
hmmm actually there are some species of the ladybug also that eat the leaf, like the 28spotted potato lady bug, which can be a problem as they eat on the soft part of the leaf.

Lady bugs are fascinating. I see them in spring or summer when they proliferate and fly around in swarms. Thank you for adding the information on their varied diet.

I really love it, because it change the way I see some of the small animal around. something that we think scary, can also be beautiful.

Lady bugs are always pretty aren't they? They also fly away quickly so no chance of falling! Great macro shots you caught there!

They are so pretty, love their marking, and for me their usefullnes to eat all the aphds are awesome. If only we can make use of them in large scale to reduce the use of insecticide.
