Cheers to a Sunday filled with love, laughter and sports.
Sometime being a spectator to an event is not bad. By being spectator, we could see and enjoy things that the participants may miss out and unable to enjoy. A spectators often have a better view of the overall action compared to participants. Spectating generally requires much less time, effort, and physical exertion compared to being a participants, while still offering significant entertainment value. This is what my Sunday was all about.

It was lovely start of the days, and I was on my morning the morning walk. However, there was something strange in the atmosphere, I was hearing some drum beats at a distance. The republic days is over so those rhythmic sounds was quite odd to begin the days. I walked towards the direction to notice, the outer area of the residential complex were closed with temporary barricades. It was like, we unable to get to the main outer ring road of the residential complex.

The roads were blocked for vehicle as well as for the daily commuters who travel on that route. It was early morning time, there was not much traffic, but whosoever went expecting a smooth ride, were struck at the barricading area. The main outer road was blocked for the half-marathon even organized by the local authority. The event was scheduled from 6AM till 8.30AM. The road was emptied to avoid any mishappening and also to make the event successful. I never attended a live sporting game and this one is of course free to watch. A number to general public took part in the half marathon to make their Sunday morning entertaining, while those who missed out were remained a mute spectator like me. But I did not miss out on the opportunity and try to enjoy the vibes of the place.

The event appear to be well planned and organized. While the roads were emptied for few hours and considering it was Sunday and off days early morning time is very good. On the other all sorts of preventive measures were taken to avoid any mis happening. While the marathon was happening under the watchful eyes of police force, the medical team too were keeping their pace on for immediate action. The marathon could be physically tough so medical attention is important when happening at such a large scale.

Number of school students have volunteer for this sporting event. They were not participants, but volunteering the race. They were their in good numbers to cheer the participants and also to distribute water, fruits, and energy drinks to them. But they have their own fun too, with little banter and poking around.

While school children were called for the drumming on the road. There were table and they keep the rhythm on with continuous drum beats. These drum beats psychologically helps the participants to ease there pressure. The kids drumming were young.

And when they get tired, they get their share of refreshment. With drinks little applause and snacks.

There were three groups of Peoples present at different intersection. One were the organizing committee member, who were wearing the Black track suits. The second group consist of the school kids volunteering the race and the third the participants, who actively took part to make the event successful. There was a fourth groups consist of the us - The spectator who enjoy the race and the moments watching the people running like hell.

The atmosphere at the venue were very joyful and full of enthusiasm. I can feel the happy vibes all around the place. A good way to begin the Sunday morning.
In good faith - Peace!!

Looks like it was fun time, though maybe a bit cold! I do most my running indoors this time of year and I don't think you could really even call it running!
Maybe you run faster, ha ha ha. I don't run, but last weekend I did my first 27K walk and it was quite a feat... Certainly, as @steemflow says, it's not the same to be a participant as it is to be a spectator, nor is it the same to be an organizer, but regardless of the role, everyone leaves with a great feeling. I still have adrenaline, ha ha ha.
I can only run for about three minutes straight before I am dead, so I don't think I would get very far!
