Yesterday I was again at my new home site, day time was all busy at the site and monitoring work. After finishing all the work, then evening, I decided to spend at one of the points which is called the Lion's point in Lonavala town. This place is up the hills and from here you can get some fabulous views of all the valleys that surround the area. The weather was also amazing, it kept raining on and off and it would keep getting foggy. Sometimes it would get so foggy that it would be difficult to see things even at a distance of 10 meters.

The views are fabulous, but can you see those plastic bottles. It is so shameful that people still behave so carelessly and pollute such a beautiful environment. These places have no monitoring so it is one's own responsibility to be mindful of where they throw their garbage. There are dustbins available in the place but yet people throw their trash carelessly anywhere they feel comfortable and destroy the nature. And these types of things are done by educated people which is the sad part. One thing I have observed is that when people travel to other countries, they are mindful about throwing the trash in proper places but when they are in their own country, they become careless, because here the rules of garbage disposal are not yet very stringent and there is no strict punishment so people take it very casually.

There are many small food joints on this hill top which serve some quick bites and tea and yes you will also find many monkeys here. You need to be careful when you are eating anything outside, they will come and snatch it.

At any given time, this place is full of people. People come here at midnight also to enjoy the weather.

It just feels so peaceful sitting out here and watching these views.

After this went back to our room, I was completely exhausted and crashed out. It was a hectic day but a wonderful one too.
It's just 2 more days for me in Mumbai and then I leave back for Muscat. I am already feeling sad about it, but then I know that I will come back soon again, hopefully end of Oct or beginning Nov that brings a little cheer to me. This trip has been very productive for me, doing a lot of things for the home and also I spent good time with my family and friends. I will go back with many sweet memories. Life goes on back and forth for me between the two countries. I enjoy this but sometimes I wish that now I need to settle down in one place, which I am sure is soon going to happen.
