Tasting Affogato for the first time ☕
Hello Coffee Lovers ☕
Last week between plans to do and how we were going to carry out the day, my girlfriend and I came up with a series of ideas of what to do with our available afternoon, that is, where we wanted to go. Since we hadn't been to a coffee shop in a long, long time, we decided to visit one.
So well, between so much searching and deciding, since we have been to many, we decided to go to Galerias Hiper Market, a hypermarket in the city that has a coffee area where you can sit and taste the different sweets, food and drinks that are prepared and sold there, and that are really worth it.
I had been curious for a while about the so-called Affogato coffee, first because it resembles the name of my cat who is Abogato hahahahahah, and secondly because Luciana always told me it was very good and that I should try it because it contains ice cream and the truth is that I'm quite a fan of ice cream. Well, the visit to the place fell like a glove because they had the Affogato at a very good price of 2,47$ while in other places in Cumana it was over 4$.
At first it took me a while to assimilate the taste of Affogato, since coffee does not usually have sugar, I guess because of the fact of having some ice cream and concentrate the sweetness, but it was not bad, that is, I had to get used to the watery taste but in the end that is the joke of Affogato coffee. After moving on a bit, if I liked it, I couldn't finish it all because it got to a point where I felt it was too cloying, and well, I asked for a little sweet to go with it hehe.
I really liked the consistency of the ice cream and coffee, something new for me, I'm not going to lie to you but I think it's a matter of adapting since I'm also very attached to latte coffee and well, I have to let go a little to get to know new tastes of mine. I liked it and I'm willing to try it again, I just have to decide on the day to go prepared and this time I won't eat a sweet so I don't get cloying, hahahaha.

Your affogato looks completely different from the ones that I'm used to, but I guess the big difference is that it's served all mixed together.

Same! that's what I thought too. The ice cream is a lot more than the coffee content. The affogato I am used to is just like yours.
I think it's amazing how different regions present such variations that one cannot even recognise them to be the same thing 😁
Your Affogato looks quite delicious like this, maybe I would have enjoyed it even more separately hahahahahaha but it was good, at first it took me a while to adjust but I would definitely order it again hehehehehe
