Si usted es amanfe de café, entonces sabrá que hay momentos que claman por una taza de esa bebida hecha por los dioses, para nosotros, humanos desagradecidos que no valoramos lo que bebemos... Yo, no suelo escribir como me gustaría sobre el impacto de esta infusión porque casi siempre tomo en casa, y pocas veces voy a una cafetería y olvido todo lo que sucede a mi alrededor. Sin embargo, ayer fue un día hermoso... Nada extraordinario sucedió pero fue la simpleza, y la compañía lo que hizo que me sintiera a gusto y con alegría...
Y miren, que desde lo profundo de mi ser, me cuesta ver el lado alegre de la vida... Como ya he mencionado, el café es mi "cable a tierra". Es mi ancla ante cualquier atisbo de inconveniente... ¿Tengo cansancio porque dormí poco la noche anterior? Ahí esta conmigo mi taza de café negro... ¿Necesit energía extra para realizar un proyecto? Más infusión para la señora, por favor, je. Y así, podría continuar por decenas de ejemplos más. Pero... Ayer fue precioso porque mi hija y mi pareja estuvieron a mi lado: juntos, fuimos a una cafetería con terraza, y música relajante y disfrutamos las bondades de un domingo.
Yo rompí la monotonía en la elección del tipo de café que, usualmente suelo beber, y fui por algo con más "chic" y "glamour" de lo que casi siempre suelo elegir. Moccacino Clásico, ése es el nombre de lo que ordené para mí. Mi chico, prefirió tomar un bebida cítrica porque también habíamos almorzado antes y se sentía un poco pesado... Y mi hija, solo tomó una limonada, ya saben cómo son los niños... Honestamente, yo no soy de tipo de chica que va por ahí probando cuanto café haya en los diferentes menús... Pero debo admiie y reconocer, que la mesera que nos atendió es una auténtica genia de las ventas.
Sencillamente caí en la manera en cómo narró el proceso de preparación del Moccacino. Si bien, ya había probado este tipo de café antes, no es menos cierto que dejé de recordar a qué sabía con certeza desde hace años... El hábito es más fuerte que la memoria, supongo... Además, el persistente pero logero aroma a granos tostados molidos que se percibía en toda la cafetería, hacia irresistible la tentación de quedarse y degustar... A final de cuentas, de eso se trata, de pasarla realmente rico y de disfrutar el tiempo en familia. Cada quien en lo suyo, eso sí pero juntos y compartiendo momentos. Y creo que desde esa perspectiva, el café, en cualquier de sus presentaciones; quizá exceptuando al ice coffee, cumple una función importante desde lo social.
Domingo, alrededor de las 6 de la tarde, nuestra estómago repletos; hace menos de 3 horas habiaos comido pizza como si el mundo se fuera a acabar, jeje; allí estábamos los tres. Él, conversando con mi nena, yo pensando en lo delicioso de la bebida que tomaba, y todos en armonía. Sonrisas, anécdotas, algún que otro recordatorio de obligaciones durante la semana a que se viene, pero en su gran mayoría una experiencia de sensaciones y sabores. Café, queridos amigas y amigos; nuestro querido y adorado café. Una bebida, qje sin importar cómo prefieras tomarla siempre tendrá un plus, un extra, algo más para inspirarnos y hacerlo realmente fantástico y atesorable. A veces, hay que hacer caso a las recomendaciones. Gracias, querida mesera, gracias.

And look, from the depths of my being, I find it hard to see the joyful side of life.... As I have already mentioned, coffee is my ‘grounding cable’. It is my anchor in the face of any hint of inconvenience... Am I tired because I didn't get enough sleep the night before? My cup of black coffee is there with me... Need extra energy for a project? More infusion for the lady, please, heh. And so on, I could go on for dozens more examples. But... Yesterday was beautiful because my daughter and my partner were by my side: together, we went to a café with a terrace and relaxing music and enjoyed the goodness of a Sunday.
I broke the monotony in the choice of the type of coffee I usually drink, and went for something with more ‘chic’ and ‘glamour’ than what I almost always choose. Moccacino Classico, that's the name of what I ordered for myself. My boy, he preferred to have a citrus drink because we had also had lunch earlier and it felt a bit heavy.... And my daughter, she just had a lemonade, you know how kids are.... Honestly, I'm not the type of girl who goes around trying all the coffee on the different menus... But I have to admit that the waitress who served us was a real sales genius.
The way she narrated the process of preparing the Moccacino, I simply fell for it. Although I had tasted this type of coffee before, it is no less true that I had stopped remembering what it tasted like for years... Habit is stronger than memory, I guess? Besides, the lingering, but still very pleasant aroma of roasted ground beans that permeated the whole coffee shop made it irresistible to linger and taste... At the end of the day, that's what it's all about, having a really good time and enjoying family time. Each to their own, but together and sharing moments. And I think that from that perspective, coffee, in any of its forms, perhaps with the exception of ice coffee, fulfils an important social function.
Sunday, around 6pm, our stomachs full; less than 3 hours ago we had eaten pizza as if the world was going to end, hehe; there we were, the three of us. He, chatting with my baby, me thinking about the deliciousness of the drink I was having, and all of us in harmony. Smiles, anecdotes, the odd reminder of obligations for the week ahead, but mostly an experience of sensations and flavours. Coffee, dear friends; our beloved and adored coffee. A drink, that no matter how you prefer to drink it will always have a plus, an extra, something extra to inspire us and make it truly fantastic and treasurable.
