Searching shady places where to draw.
Hello hivers, an happy Monday to you all! I hope you spent a nice weekend. ❤️
Here it's really a very hot time as I wrote many times and during these very very hot days is not simple for me to draw or to paint, even if I try to do it with a fan close to me and a wet towel on my legs (or putting my feeth in a bowl with cold water and salt).
Because of this me and my hubby, in the afternoon on Saturday and on Sunday too, we went outside of my city to search shady places where to draw a little in a more comfortable way. Sure, when I go outside I prefer to draw or use the watercolors, because to paint with oil colors I need more tools (and turpentine!).
On Saturday, like I wrote in my previous content (you can read about that village here, we went to the little village called Spedaletto and, after a relaxed pause there, we walked a little to go inside a nice forest where we placed our tools to draw.
Even if the light there was not excellent because it was the later afertnoon, it was nice to stay there for some time.
Before to start to draw, I took some pics around while my hubby was sitting, ready to paint with watercolors:
At the end we spent a nice time in a place where the air was coolest than in our city and we will do the same in the next weekend, but in a different place close to the village where I was born.

What a beautiful place, Silvia, perfect for painting and creating art, but also for escaping the high temperatures we’re having in these parts. It’s been really hot here too, and although I haven’t painted in the woodland parks, I did go there once to find a nicer spot.
That’s absolutely true, oil painting requires more equipment, and on hot days it’s tricky to paint and find that inspiration. I think I’ve tried the same methods, right down to the wet towel on my back and neck. I hope better days are ahead and the heat eases off. The photos are lovely!! A big hug to you both!🤗

Yes, it's a beautiful place where to draw or to paint, especially during the hot days. I know very well this area, because the village where I was born is not so far from there and when I was a child we used to go there in the summer afternoons, also because my dad loved to fish in the lake. 😊 A big hug to you too! ❤️
