Un recuerdo exclusivo / An exclusive souvenir

Una estrella de mar,
que puede fuera del agua respirar,
trepa una mesa con dificultad
y llega a la parte alta con afán.

Ahí hay un pan sobre el plato
y la estrella lo toma con cuidado,
le dice que irán a dar un paseo cercano
que confie en ella, visitarán un lugar fantástico.

A starfish,
which can breathe out of water,
climbs onto a table with difficulty
and eagerly reaches the top.

There is a piece of bread on the plate,
and the starfish picks it up carefully,
telling it that they will go for a walk nearby,
that it should trust her, that they will visit a fantastic place.

La estrella lo lleva con habilidad,
lo baja de la mesa sin su figura dañar,
por las praderas los ven pasar
y algunas veces se detiene a descansar.

La estrella lleva al pan hasta el mar
y sin miedo le enseña a flotar,
la masa muy feliz está,
aunque el agua desmorona su masa de sal.

The star carries it skillfully,
lifts it off the table without damaging its shape,
they see it passing through the meadows
and sometimes it stops to rest.

and fearlessly teaches it to float,
the dough is very happy,
even though the water crumbles its salty mass.

Nadan un buen rato,
bajan por el agua rápido
y cuando mucho han disfrutado,
la estrella regresa al pan a su plato.

Se despiden este par de amigos,
fue un viaje muy divertido,
eso sí, perdió su masa entre el líquido
pero eso no importa, se llevó un recuerdo exclusivo.

They swim for a long time,
diving quickly into the water,
and when they have enjoyed themselves to the fullest,
the star returns to the bread on its plate.

The two friends say goodbye,
it was a very fun trip,
although it lost its dough in the liquid,
but that doesn't matter, it took away a unique memory.
