Un Hogar para Todos/A Home for Everyone

En la mesa de la cocina,
hay frutas de diferente medida
de repente algo se aproxima,
es un mosco de mirada bonita.

El insecto toma un limón,
pero algo lo asusta sin razón,
es otra fruta de amarillo color
y el mosco se va con determinación.

On the kitchen table,
there are fruits of different sizes,
suddenly something approaches,
it’s a fly with a pretty gaze.

The insect picks up a lemon,
but something startles it for no reason
it’s another yellow fruit,
and the fly flies away with determination

El mosco es insistente y vuelve,
está vez con cautela se mueve,
se acerca a otras frutas lentamente
y a unas peras se sube hábilmente.

Desde ahí intenta tomar un limón
y ocurre lo mismo que la vez anterior,
el mosco se acerca y la toma con amor
por fin la fruta amarilla eligió.

The fly is persistent and returns,
this time moving cautiously,
approaching other fruits slowly
and deftly climbing onto some pears.

From there, it tries to grab a lemon,
and the same thing happens as before,
the fly approaches and takes it lovingly,
finally, it has chosen the yellow fruit.

La naranja quería ser seleccionada,
estaba cansada de estar ignoranda,
la fruta está emocionada
porque el mosquito se la lleva a casa.

Y así poco a poco,
todas las frutas se van de este entorno,
tras un tiempo todo queda solo,
las frutas se fueron a un hogar grandioso.

The orange wanted to be picked,
it was tired of being ignored,
the fruit is excited
because the mosquito is taking it home.

And so, little by little,
all the fruits leave this place,
after a while, everything is left alone,
the fruits went to a wonderful home.

Todos merecemos un hogar
incluso las frutas que feas están,
está naranja encontró su lugar
gracias a un insecto que le dió una oportunidad.

We all deserve a home,
even the ugliest fruits,
this orange found its place
thanks to an insect that gave it a chance.
