Se acerca la Navidad / Christmas is coming

Un murciélago estaba descansado,
en su hogar, un lugar lejano
y hasta ahí lo alcanzaron,
los vientos y le trajeron algo.

Era una carta de un amigo,
que vendría a verlo el domingo,
tomó la escoba y se puso activo,
para la visita el suelo debía estar limpio.

A bat was resting,
in its home, a faraway place,
and even there they reached it,
the winds, and brought it something.

It was a letter from a friend,
who would come to see it on Sunday.
It took the broom and got busy,
for the visit, the floor had to be clean.

El murciélago exageró
y hasta el verde césped barrió,
cuando la visita llegó
un terreno muy blanco encontró

Era una nube clara la que llegaba
y podría ensuciarse en este hábitat,
el murciélago con cariño la abraza
y le da la bienvenida a casa.

The bat exaggerated
and even swept the green grass,
when the visitor arrived
he found a very white ground

It was a clear cloud that was coming
and could get dirty in this habitat,
the bat lovingly embraces it
and welcomes it home.

La nube no llegó por casualidad,
en su maleta trae un regalo especial,
lo saca lento, sin afán
y lo entrega al animal que ansioso está.

Es un copo de nieve,
que avisa que el invierno viene,
el murciélago lo cuelga alegremente,
como señal de que se acerca diciembre.

The cloud did not arrive by chance,
in its suitcase it brings a special gift,
it takes it out slowly, without haste,
and gives it to the animal that is eagerly waiting.

It is a snowflake,
which warns that winter is coming,
the bat hangs it happily,
as a sign that December is approaching.

La nube regresa a su hogar,
el copo de nieve se queda en el lugar,
el murciélago cuidándolo está
esperando que llegue la Navidad

The cloud returns home,
the snowflake stays where it is,
the bat watches over it,
waiting for Christmas to arrive.
