La servilleta de la maleta / The napkin in the suitcase
Un día me fui con maletas
sin miedo a lo que viniera,
con amarilla vestimenta,
es que soy una banana fresca
y mirada sincera.
Pasaron los años
y regresé transformado,
ya no era un banano,
sino una torta de color dorado,
eso sí, con mi maleta en la mano.
One day I left with suitcases
without fear of what was coming,
with yellow clothes,
is that I am a fresh banana
and sincere look.
Years went by
and I returned transformed,
I was no longer a banana,
but a golden colored cake,
that yes, with my suitcase in my hand.
En la noche de la maleta,
salió una servilleta,
que se posó en la mesa
y espero a que amaneciera,
con la mirada inquieta.
Cuando la luz regresó,
la servilleta se alborotó,
rápido se acercó
y me agradeció,
por haberla traído a esta habitación.
In the night from the suitcase,
came out a napkin,
that landed on the table
and waited for dawn,
with a restless look.
When the light returned,
the napkin fussed,
quickly approached
and thanked me,
for bringing it to this room.
Luego se alejó,
la servilleta se marchó,
hasta aquí le ayudé yo,
le di un aventón
para que busqué la familia que perdió.
Así fue como se reencontró,
con servilletas de diversa coloración,
es su familia, unidos son,
andaba perdida en otra habitación,
la encontré y hasta acá la traje yo.
Then she walked away,
the napkin went away,
up to here I helped her,
I gave her a ride
to look for the family she lost.
This is how she was reunited,
with napkins of different colors,
is her family, they are united,
she was lost in another room,
I found her and I brought her here.
Cuando puedas colaborar,
