El mundo mágico de la zanahoria / The magical world of carrots

Un huevo dormía tranquilo,
en un recipiente alto y bonito,
llegó una zanahoria al sitio
y le pareció un alimento magnífico,
blanco como un astro ficticio.

Se acercó de forma rápida
y se sentó sobre unas papas pardas,
quería que despertará
y desde la distancia lo miraba
con dedicación y constancia.

An egg slept peacefully,
in a tall, beautiful container
a carrot arrived at the spot
and thought it looked like a magnificent food,
white as a fictional star.

It approached quickly
and sat down on some brown potatoes,
it wanted the egg to wake up
and watched it from a distance
with dedication and perseverance.

El huevo con la mirada se despertó
y la zanahoria más se acercó,
le habló sin limitación
y luego en lo alto se ubicó,
sobre las papas color marrón.

Abrió los brazos y dijo que era el sol,
su cuerpo es de un vivo color,
el huevo poca atención prestó,
al poco rato se durmió veloz
y la zanahoria salió de la habitación.

The egg with the gaze woke up
and the carrot came closer,
spoke to it without restraint
and then positioned itself high above,
on top of the brown potatoes.

It opened its arms and said it was the sun,
its body is a vivid color,
the egg paid little attention,
soon after it fell asleep quickly
and the carrot left the room.

La zanahoria regresa con sorpresa,
trae una bolsa muy negra
atrás del huevo la deja
y en ese instante este despierta,
no sabe lo que le espera.

La zanahoria se pone a su lado
y abre de nuevo los brazos
es el sol en un Universo falso
y el huevo es la Luna con su brillo claro,
este sí que es un mundo mágico.

The carrot returns with a surprise,
carrying a very black bag,
it leaves it behind the egg,
and at that moment, the egg awakens,
unaware of what awaits it.

The carrot stands beside it
and opens its arms again,
it is the sun in a false universe,
and the egg is the moon with its clear light,
this truly is a magical world.
