Cuando a la naturaleza se ama / When nature is loved

El señor con cabeza de manzana,
lleva una jarra llena de agua,
lo sigue una oveja flaca,
que algunas veces se ensancha
y parece una nube caminando con gracia,
un fenómeno que no se explica con nada.

The apple-headed man,
carrying a pitcher full of water,
followed by a skinny sheep,
which sometimes widens
and looks like a cloud walking gracefully,
a phenomenon that can't be explained by anything.

El señor manzana llega a su casa
y hay un tronco que sin vida descansa,
él le agrega agua, mucha agua,
con la esperanza de que vida nazca
y de forma mágica, así pasa,
crecen hojas verdes y pálidas.

Mr. Apple arrives home
and there is a log resting lifelessly,
he adds water to it, lots of water,
in the hope that life will be born
and magically, it happens,
pale green leaves grow.

Aquel hombre con su oveja se va,
a descansar en su hogar,
en su ausencia el sol llega al lugar
y el tronco se estira más,
crece un árbol de gran capacidad
que hace felices a quienes ahí están.

That man with his sheep goes away,
to rest in his home,
in his absence the sun reaches the place
and the trunk stretches further,
grows a tree of great capacity
that makes those who are there happy.

Es que la naturaleza es fantástica,
se repara cuando con amor se abraza,
eso sí, no sabemos lo que con la oveja pasa,
que se ensancha,
sin razón, motivo o causa,
eso sí, se la quiere, aunque sea rara.

Nature is fantastic,
it is repaired when it is embraced with love,
but we don't know what happens to the sheep,
that it widens,
without reason, motive or cause,
that yes, it is loved, although it is rare.
