First battle.

First battle.

I probably became a little sentimental since more and more often I remember and analyze some moments from my life but I must admit, it captivates me it's interesting for me.

I am not a philosopher I am a Christian. who only wants to live his life in such a way that I would not be ashamed in front of the one whom I worship and in front of my children.

I want my children not to make the same mistakes that I did and if I don’t tell them about my mistakes they will definitely step into the same puddle that I stepped into because a puddle is not a river the same waters of which cannot be entered twice.

But now this is not about that it is interesting for me to remember my path and lay it next to the path of my children and other people.

It is always interesting what was important for all of us and what was secondary.

From birth not only we but all living things are in constant struggle you either win or lose.

We do not remember many battles but there are battles that we remember forever.

For example if you ask a lot of people what you can or can't do the chances are very high that both the ability and the inability to swim will be on the list.

The battle with water the battle for balance the battle with your fears the battle with the fear of getting drunk or inhaling water the fear that a solid foundation has disappeared under your feet the fear of opening your eyes in the water this battle is very rich in impressions and it always will be in our memory as something that we either were able to overcome or we lost the battle and failed to cope with our fears.

Since my son learned to swim there have been many other battles to get through the school curriculum health battles and parenting battles but that pales in comparison to my son's first attempts at learning to swim.

In a few days my son has the most important exam after which he can enter the University after graduating from school it will be a great joy when he is asked what he can do he will probably say: "I can swim!"
