How are you? I hope you have a great day today that better than yesterday.

THE SLEEPING BUDDHA

According to some SOURCE , the sleeping Buddha or Reclining Buddha show him lying on his right side , his head resting on a cushion or on his right elbow show that everyone has the potential to be awekened and be released from the cycle of death and rebirth .

Another Source say that by putting the sleeping Buddha facing west toward right can bring peace and harmony to our home. In same time , by placing it on a clean table also symbolise our inner beliefs and state of mind in peaceful state.

THE PHOTOGRAPHY SET OF MONKS

The series of photo above was taken at Chiang Mai , Thailand while i was walking around the Mahamakut Buddhist University , Lanna Campus when the 3 young monks was praying at the Reclining Buddha during the sunset .

Let's go by parts, first I did not know about this Buddha, second less of his possible postures could show us or do, third neither of a Buddhist university, maybe it is a mistake of the translator, but still if it is true, it would be something great, everyone should teenr right to have education according to their beliefs and convictions and finally the photographs are great.

Yeah , there was Buddhist university , personally i also surprise that knowing they got the university but when i think again it might just like the Theology University for Christian (im born in Christian family) and it was possible for that country provide degree for the monk to be send in smaller temple to become teacher or head monk that have proper education line . I believe they ll also learn philosophy from thousand years of knowledge that related to their beliefs.

Wow! We learn everyday! A Buddhist University. What an intriguing concept.
Your pictures captured the moment perfectly. The last two photos almost show a connection between Buddha and the praying monks, as if he's looking down on them. Great work!
