These photographs show the Tesla Model Y 2025 Juniper.

Description
This updated version of the Model Y is known as the "refresh." From other sources, I've read that in various parts of the world this restyling is called the "Juniper."

On the outside, the car has a sharper appearance. The curved lines give way to more rigid lines. The front of the car is smoother, with a light bar that runs the length of the entire front. The front light clusters are all very low and elongated.
As for the rear, the philosophy remains exactly the same as the front. Here too, the headlights are all more flattened and elongated. The tail has a slight outward protrusion, as if it were a small spoiler cut from the bodywork. Beneath this rear wing is a highly visible TESLA logo.
Rear passengers can use a touchscreen monitor.

Regarding sales, I found that in the US, in the second quarter, the Model Y recorded approximately 60,000 sales. Model Y and Model 3 combined represent 40% of all electric car sales in the US market.
This car was primarily designed for Asian markets to counter the advance of Chinese brands like Xiaomi and BYD.
Positive sales data comes from Norway, where sales of the new Model Y increased by 213%, thanks to the restyling.
The designer, or head of the team that worked on the restyling, is Franz von Holzhausen, an American designer who created the shapes of the Model S and the second-generation Tesla Roadster.

Thoughts
As soon as I saw it, I noticed the new design, more aerodynamic and with more rigid lines. The new headlights look much more elegant than the previous ones. This design certainly aims to improve aerodynamic efficiency, but at the same time, it gives the car a more modern and sleek look.

Descrizione
Questa versione rinnovata della Model Y è nota come “refresh”. Da altre fonti di informazioni ho letto invece che in diverse parti del mondo questo restyling viene chiamato “Juniper”.
All’esterno l’autovettura si presenta con un aspetto più affilato. Le linee curve lasciano il posto a linee più rigide. Il davanti dell’autovettura è più liscio con una barra illuminante che è lunga come tutto il fronte dell’auto. I quadri ottici anteriori sono tutti molto bassi e allungati.
Per quanto riguarda il posteriore, la filosofia rimane esattamente quella dell’anteriore. Anche qui i fanali sono tutti più schiacciati e allungati. La coda presenta una certa sporgenza verso l’esterno come se fosse un piccolo alettone ricavato dalla carrozzeria. Sotto a questa ala posteriore è posta una scritta TESLA molto visibile.
I passeggeri posteriori possono usufruire di un monitor touchscreen.

Per quanto riguarda le vendite ho trovato che in USA, nel secondo trimestre, la Model Y ha registrato circa 60.000 auto vendute. Model Y e Model 3 insieme, rappresentano il 40% delle vendite di tutte le auto elettriche del mercato USA.
Principalmente questa auto è stata concepita per i mercati asiatici per contrastare l’avanzata dei marchi cinesi come Xiaomi e BYD.
Un dato positivo delle vendite è quello che arriva dalla Norvegia dove le vendite della nuova Model Y sono salite del 213%, grazie proprio al restyling.
Il designer, o capo del gruppo che ha lavorato al restyling, è Franz von Holzhausen, designer statunitense che ha creato le forme della Model S e della Tesla Roadster di seconda generazione.

Pensieri
Appena l’ho vista ho notato il nuovo design, più aerodinamico e con linee più rigide. I nuovi quadri ottici sembrano molto più eleganti di quelli precedenti. Questo design mira sicuramente a migliorare l’efficienza aerodinamica, ma allo stesso tempo dona all’autovettura un aspetto più moderno e slanciato.
