True friendship

Hello dear friends, enjoying time surrounded by friends and loved ones is very pleasant; these are moments that reset your life. Everyone has their own problems and concerns, but we put them aside to spend time together.

Many describe friendship as those people who are always there for you, no matter what you've been through. But in reality, they're not always there by your side; sometimes they're many miles away. However, their love and concern for you means you don't feel alone, and you understand that distance is no obstacle when you truly love someone.

Recently, the mother of a dear friend passed away. They left the country some time ago, and I couldn't attend her funeral. I was only there via video call. What surprised me later was that after several days, she thanked me for being there and not leaving her alone. I felt bad because I couldn't do anything for her from so far away, but she saw it as a great gesture that I was on the other end of the phone supporting her.

I will continue to strive to be there for my friends and family. The things that I see as small or insignificant can be a great gesture of love for them.
