Photographing a gentle stray dog

There are quite a lot of stray dogs running around Yerevan. While most seem harmless, some are pretty clear on being a bit defensive. A natural outcome of their more difficult lives on the streets as many different types of people may pass by them, treating them differently. I've been a bit cautious with them all for obvious reasons. But my love for dogs is sometimes too high. It has been a year since I lost the one I grew up with, and that pain hasn't decreased one it. I now see her face in the eyes of all dogs. And I treat them just like her. Yesterday, while walking we came across a gentle stray that had the cutest eyes. A little girl that wanted a lot of love and attention. I couldn't help but give it to her. Stroking her, playing with her in the busy streets of Yerevan. Most of the time people overlook the strays. They go about their business even when the strays just sit by them at the crossings, waiting for their chance as the dangers of the cars subside.
This one dog followed us through the city. I'd run with her, stroke her, and she'd jump up at me and demand more affection. I couldn't help but capture her with the camera along the way. The most adorable little thing that deserves a home. Wanting nothing more than a family. I didn't have much time to capture her, using the autofocus with the camera as there was so much movement around. But you can really see the adorable nature of her. Shot with a Sony A6000 and a Sony E mount lens, at 35mm F1.8.
Towards the end I also captured a few street images. But they're nothing on that cute dog.

I love the way the dog looks. She looks beautiful. Plus this pictures are so lovely
Awwn, if I didn't know any better, I'd have thought the adorable little cutie was yours.
She looks like the runway was made for her😅😅.
It is quite a pity that there a lot of stray dogs roaming the streets and looking to give and receive a lot of love.
I used to think they were all aggressive because that's just how they were. But now that you explain it, why wouldn't be that way when some people treat them like they're trash. I'll try to be a little nicer to them, I'll be careful as well.
Amazing photography skills dear!
Yeah, a lot of them are just surviving. The types of people they come across and the dangers faced makes them a bit more on edge. You can tell which ones are more friendly quite easily. This one was utterly adorable.
The most beautiful dog 🤩🤩
Super cute. Really made me miss my own.
