Historical attractions in Buriram Province "Phanom Rung"
During the past week, there was an important event in Buriram Province, namely the Phanom Rung Mountain Fair. An important phenomenon is The sun rises and sunsets, with light passing through 15 gates. It is believed that those who watch it will bring prosperity to themselves and their families.
Phanom Rung Castle located inside Phanom Rung Historical Park It is an ancient religious site on the top of an extinct volcano. The site of the castle used to be the site of local religious sites. Phanom Rung Usually it is still open to tourists to visit. Can be reached by car or bus from Bangkok - Khao Phanom Rung and then connect to the castle Song teaw. Or the Buriram - Chanthaburi line, get off at Tako Village. Continue with song teaw or the motorcycle to Khao Phanom Rung. Admission fee: Thai people 20 baht, foreigners 100 baht. Students, seniors can visit for free. Open daily from 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
