Lighting of the Christmas tree at CC Monagas Plaza 🎄✨

¡Feliz lunes! Deseo para todos un grandioso inicio de semana. Mi fin de semana estuvo bastante entretenido y divertido y se debe a que tuve la oportunidad de ir a dos eventos navideños en dos diferentes centros comerciales y hoy les quiero compartir sobre uno de ellos. El día sábado se llevó a cabo el encendido del árbol de navidad del Centro Comercial Monagas Plaza, lugar donde trabajo y gracias a eso no me perdí ningún detalle de esta actividad navideña comenzando por la decoración del árbol gigante que tiene.

My weekend was quite entertaining and fun and it is because I had the opportunity to go to two Christmas events in two different shopping centers and today I want to share with you about one of them. On Saturday, the lighting of the Christmas tree at the Monagas Plaza Shopping Center, where I work, took place and thanks to that I did not miss any details of this Christmas activity, starting with the decoration of the giant tree it has.

Este encendido es algo que se hace cada año sin falta para recibir a la navidad en el centro comercial y fue este año la prinera vez que lo presencié de inicio a fin. Lo primero fue la llegada de Santa Claus alrededor de las 4 pm quien hizo entrada junto con el Grinch, ambos en la parte trasera de una moto, una entrada bastante original y que nadie se esperaba.

This lighting is something that is done every year without fail to welcome Christmas in the shopping center and this year was the first time I witnessed it from start to finish. The first thing was the arrival of Santa Claus around 4 pm who made an entrance along with the Grinch, both on the back of a motorcycle, a quite original entrance that no one expected.

Todo el evento navideño se realizó en la feria del centro comercial, hasta allí no pude llegar ya que tenía mucho trabajo ese día pero de vez en cuando me escapaba de a raticos para ver cómo iba todo, un grupo de niñas de una academia de baile hicieron baile/musical navideño muy lindo. Santa Claus estuvo recibiendo las cartas de todos los niños y luego de ello comenzó a pasear por el centro comercial, entrando a las tiendas y compartiendo con la gente hasta que llegó al lugar en el que trabajo, allí aproveché y me tomé unas fotos y selfies con el, incluso hasta me pidieron grabar un video con Santa para el Instagram, esa parte me dio mucha pena porque yo soy una persona más de fotos y no de videos pero aun así accedí y me divertí mucho en el proceso.

The entire Christmas event took place at the shopping center fair, I couldn't get there since I had a lot of work that day but from time to time I escaped from time to time to see how everything was going, a group of girls from a dance academy They did a very nice Christmas dance/musical. Santa Claus was receiving the letters from all the children and after that he began to walk through the shopping center, entering the stores and sharing with people until he arrived at the place where I work, there I took advantage and took some photos and selfies With him, they even asked me to record a video with Santa for Instagram, that part made me very sad because I am more of a photo person and not a video person but I still agreed and I had a lot of fun in the process.

Ya por último se hizo el encendido del árbol, para ello todas las personas se acercaron al árbol rodeándolo y luego de una cuenta regresiva encendieron las luces, la verdad está parte me decepcionó un poco y creo que muchas otras personas también, como ya les había dicho la decoración del árbol este año fue completamente diferente y me esperaba un encendido más llamativo, lo cual no sucedió, siento que fueron muy pocas las luces que le colocaron y estas casi ni se notan, es un árbol muy hermoso sin duda pero muy poco iluminado, sin embargo, todo estuvo muy bien, fue una actividad muy linda y con ella se recibió oficialmente la navidad en el centro comercial.

Finally, the lighting of the tree was done, for this all the people approached the tree surrounding it and after a countdown they turned on the lights, the truth is that this part disappointed me a little and I think many other people did too, as I had already told them. Having said that, the decoration of the tree this year was completely different and I expected a more striking lighting, which did not happen, I feel that there were very few lights that were placed on it and these are almost not noticeable, it is a very beautiful tree without a doubt but very little illuminated, however, everything was very good, it was a very nice activity and with it Christmas was officially received in the shopping center.
