Reppin' Pink Under the Orange Lights

October is the month where a lot goes on and one of the most bitter sweet things that happens is the focus on Breast Cancer Awareness. The color pink was chosen to commemorate the cause.

The source of how it all began as a major cause was started by https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Susan_G._Komen_for_the_Cure's Sister Nancy Brinker.

Well, my sisters and I lost our Mother to breast cancer. It started with her discovering a lump in her breast and our lives changed forever. She fought cancer tooth and nail from the age of 52 and passed away at 62. It's been past 10 years now, but we still lament her loss.

At ORANGETHEORY FITNESS where Tiffany and I spend most of our week for the last 7 to 8 plus years, the company and it's franchises always have themed days or days like today where everyone who works out at the studio is invited to wear pink. Of course, every fitness studio will do there own thing on how much they expand on it.

This morning was just a typical workout, where we burned calories under the orange lights, but we did it wearing something pink.

Tiffany and I took a selfie immediately after the class under the **Orangetheory ** sign to document the day.

There was also a group picture taken after the workout, which the studio staff will post later today or tomorrow on IG.
