A little piece of my city / Day One [ESP/ ENG]
Bienvenido hermoso junio, asi comenzamos este mes, esta semana, con la mejor actitud, mostrándoles un pedacito de mi ciudad de Anaco, estado Anzoátegui, Venezuela, como parte de este gran reto #HiveAroundTheWorld, recorriendo esos lugares emblemáticos, que a pesar de los años, se mantienen, algunos han mejorado, cambiado, otros siguen siendo historia.
Por ejemplo, este espacio, ubicado en el medio de la avenida, el cual hace un año fue reconstruido, modificado, conocido como la plaza de la fuente, recuerdo que pasaba por allí todos los días camino a la Universidad, después cuando iba al trabajo, muchas personas aprovechan para sentarse, comer, vender, e incluso promocionar eventos, sin duda un sitio muy propio de la ciudad.
Por otra parte, quise mostrarles este otro lugar que también representa mi ciudad, y al pasar de los años, se ha mantenido, es una de las iglesias, que con el tiempo, ha albergado muchos curas, los cuales han dejado su huella, para mí este sitio es una parte histórica, ya que se encuentra en todo el centro, rodeada de tiendas, negocios, pero ella se sostiene, con la ayuda de sus feligreses fieles, brindando ese espacio de paz, tranquilidad y fe, la misma es conocida como la Iglesia Virgen del Valle, ya que somos devotos de la virgen, por cierto, tenemos este mural, en una de las calles, casi cerca de la iglesia.
Como dije, lugares que con los años aún se mantienen, iglesias, plazas, algunas iguales, otras modificadas, eso sí, al pasar del tiempo, la ciudad ha tenido varios cambios, con nuevos negocios, tiendas, ha ido creciendo poco a poco, y los que antes decían que esto era un pueblo, ahora se sorprenden de todo lo que ha ido evolucionando, a pesar de todo, seguimos siendo la ciudad gasifera, sin gas jajaja (un poco de humor, pero literal).😀
Bien amigos, esta es mi primera entrada a este gran reto de 7 días, compartiendo pequeñas escenas de mi mundo, y ustedes que esperan para unirse @edittasc86 @maydelvalle 😍

Welcome, beautiful June! This is how we begin this month, this week, with the best attitude, showing you a little bit of my city of Anaco, in the state of Anzoátegui, Venezuela, as part of this great #HiveAroundTheWorld challenge, visiting those iconic places that, despite the passing of time, remain unchanged, some have improved or changed, while others remain history.
For example, this space, located in the middle of the avenue, which was rebuilt and modified a year ago, known as the fountain square. I remember passing by there every day on my way to university, and later when I went to work. Many people take advantage of it to sit, eat, sell, and even promote events. It is undoubtedly a very characteristic place in the city.
On the other hand, I wanted to show you this other place that also represents my city, and over the years, it has remained the same. It is one of the churches that, over time, has housed many priests, who have left their mark. For me, this place is a historical site, as it is located in the center, surrounded by shops and businesses, but it stands strong with the help of its faithful parishioners, providing a space of peace, tranquility, and faith. It is known as the Iglesia Virgen del Valle, since we are devotees of the Virgin. By the way, we have this mural on one of the streets, almost near the church.
As I said, places that have remained unchanged over the years, churches, squares, some unchanged, others modified. Of course, over time, the city has undergone several changes, with new businesses and shops, growing little by little. Those who used to say that this was a village are now surprised by how much it has evolved. Despite everything, we are still the gas city, without gas, ha ha ha (a little humor, but literal).😀
