How are you doing? I hope you're doing great, this time I'm showing you a y2k makeup and photos that I took a few weeks ago and I wanted to show you how it turned out. These photos and makeup were really easy to do and I was inspired by a video on Tiktok of a girl who was doing a blue y2k makeup. I didn't know about this style until I dove into Pinterest and this whole world of what it means. Actually, the meaning of Y2K can vary depending on what generation the person we ask was born in. However, Y2K fashion is based on the nostalgia of rescuing the most emblematic aesthetic of the 2000s, which was characterized by combining pop culture with technology. However, it is an updated version that gives way to more chic and comfortable outfits.

This trend jumped from social networks and gained more prominence with the reboot of series like Friends, Sex and the City (I love this series, it's one of my favorites) and Gossip Girl to mark the return of short t-shirts, vibrant colors, hip pants and other elements that you will surely love.

To recreate this look, I used a white mini skirt that yes, don't you know, mini skirts were a fashion boom of the 2000's, that's why they can't be missing in the face of the return of that aesthetic. Thanks to its small proportion you can create balanced and interesting looks with the help of oversize tops, blazers, sweaters and high boots. But, I wanted to combine it with a corset of denim fabric that has sublimated butterflies, it is very nice and I like to wear it from time to time. I made two ponytails and as my hair is red, they make a harmonious combination of colors.

Continuing with the makeup theme, I only applied a blue shadow on my eyelids, I lined them with black, I painted my eyebrows trying to make them as thin as possible, I applied a red ink and then a gloss on my lips. Yo espero que súper bien, esta vez les muestro un maquillaje y2k y fotos algo a este estilo, pero súper naturales que me realicé hace unas semanas y quería mostrarles cómo me quedó. Estas foticos y maquillaje fueron realmente fáciles de realizar y me inspire de un video en Tiktok de una chica que estaba realizando un maquillaje azul y2k. No sabía de este estilo hasta que me sumergí en Pinterest y todo este mundo de lo que significa. En realidad, el significado de Y2K puede variar según la generación en la que haya nacido la persona a la que le preguntemos. Sin embargo, la moda Y2K se basa en la nostalgia de rescatar la estética más emblemática de los años 2000, la cual se caracterizó por combinar la cultura pop con la tecnología. Sin embargo, se trata de una versión actualizada que da paso a atuendos más chic y cómodos.

Esta moda saltó desde las redes sociales y cobró mayor protagonismo con el reboot de series como Friends, Sex and the City (Amo esta serie, es de mis favoritas) y Gossip Girl para marcar el regreso de camisetas cortas, colores vibrantes, pantalones a la cadera y otros elementos que seguro te encantarán.

Para recrear este look, utilicé una minifalda blanca que sí, no lo saben, las minifaldas fueron un boom de la moda de los 2000, por eso no pueden faltar ante el regreso de dicha estética. Gracias a su pequeña proporción se pueden crear looks equilibrados e interesantes con ayuda de tops oversize, blazers, jerseys y botas altas. Pero, yo quise combinarla con un corsé de tela de jean que tiene sublimado unas mariposas, es muy bonito y me gusta ponérmelo de vez en cuando. Me hice dos colitas y como mi cabello es de color rojo, hacen una combinación armoniosa de colores.

Continuando con el tema del maquilla, solamente me aplique una sombra azul en mis parpados, me los delinee con negro, me pinte mis cejas intentando que fueran lo más delgadas posibles, me aplique una tinta roja y luego un gloss en mis labios. Apliqué un poco de colorete y finalicé este look inspirado en este estilo, espero traerles un tutorial de este maquillaje y2k próximamente.
