Yesterday I saw this post from @ssekulji showing off their Citroen C2 R2 Max rally car with a custom Hive livery. I've seen a few other people post Hive stickers on their cars, but none to this extent. I have to say, it looks really good and I think it's great to have https://hive.io/ plastered all over the ride. Go check that post out if you haven't already seen it, really cool.

After I read that post, I remembered that I had designed my own custom Hive livery. Except mine was done in the PlayStation exclusive video game Gran Turismo 7. I spent a few hours meticulously putting together a design that I thought was cool, yet also promoted Hive to every person that I raced online.

Luckily for me, GT7 has the absolute best photo mode of any game ever. It's called scapes and it gives you the ability to take professional-looking car photos with thousands of different locations. Each one adds realistic shadows and makes it look as if any of your cars are truly in the location depicted. These do not look like photos from a simulation racing video game.

If you're curious about what type of car I went with for the design, it's a Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 ’15. I paid 297,000 Cr. for it over at Brand Central, which acts as the in-game car dealership. This Lambo is an absolute beast and I have a blast driving it. I actually made a YouTube video showing off the design, hitting the track with the car, and also explaining how you can download my design for free to use on your car in GT7.

Check it out here:

I love designing liveries and have for many years. This one was one of my favorites to create. It's one thing to have a Lamborghini, but you hit a whole new level of dopeness whenever it's representing Hive during every single race.

I would love to know what you think of the design. Let me know which photo is your favorite. I struggle to determine which one looked the best, but I went with the thumbnail image parked on those green hills. I feel like the verticality of this image is what makes it stand apart from the rest.

I haven't played GT7 in months and truthfully I have so many amazing car photographs with custom designs like this one. It may be my only Hive car, but I have plenty of other ways that I can get creative. I stopped posting GT7 content for a while because I was getting lazy with it. I was just posting one photo at a time, but now I understand that having 10 photos per post on Liketu is ideal. I eventually thought of the idea to combine multiple photos into one so I can even have more than 10 in total. I feel much better about posting this type of content rather than skimping out and trying to "make my content last long".

Do you think this style of post is something you'd like to see more often? Or do you think a bunch of sick car photos isn't something worth looking at? I would love to know. You can leave a comment below and I'll 100% read and reply to it. If anything, I'm always down to have a conversation about my favorite cars. Anything and everything is welcome.

Thanks for checking this one out!

Very cool design, Mr @daltono
In my opinion, running promotion is very effective, even though it is done in a racing game in cyberspace. As you have done.
I also chose a thumbnail parked in the green hills with a solid rock behind it. It strengthens Lambo's toughness.
I dreamed of owning that car and even I dreamed of driving it even if only once in my life.
Have fun racing

Thanks, my dude! I thought that at least one of the cars in my collection needed to be dedicated to Hive. It's amazing what Scapes allows you to do in terms of car photography.
I too hope that one day you and I both can see what it is like to drive an exotic car such as this one.

OMG! the car of my dreams! I love it bro. Landscapes looks so reals, and the car too. Thank you for promoting the usage of Hive on YouTube!

One of many cars that I dream of getting behind the wheel of. It's crazy how realistic video games have become. These photographs are nearly impossible to distinguish from a real-life car. It sure is a lot more instant to transport my car worldwide in the video game than it would be to fly it around irl.

I try to promote Hive when I can, but often people just don't want to hear it. I think that the video included in this post goes the extra mile to explain why getting on Hive is a no-brainer.

Yesterday in my web3 conference I've talked about the web3 challenges, and the education it's a big one. Today Hive has a considered learning curvature, and we need to try to simplify that with communication. You're a great communicator.

I've seen your pictures at the conference. That must be exciting to attend. I'm happy for you and everyone else in the area who was able to be there.

Thank you bro. You're a great communicator too. I think with people trying to have the much needed conversations, we are going to keep doing better and better.

Thank you so much. If only I had something like this in my actual garage, rather than just in my collection on a video game.

having a car this cool and apart customized with Hive is great. It shows the difference how the graphics have improved since I got to play Gran Turismo from that a few years ago

It's hyper realism at this point. I honestly can't believe what these new game engines are allowing developers to do. It's amazing!

This level of detail and VR would be heaven. Though there probably is something like that already, I'm pretty out of touch with games at this point.

The Gran Turismo Sport had a VR option... I have a feeling that once PSVR2 releases next year, GT7 will become VR compatible. It makes so much sense and will put you directly in the drivers seat.

I think this is what will really pull me back into games. I've been fighting the urge to pick up a headset for a while actually. Annoyingly I missed out on getting the Meta Quest 2 cheaper since they raised the price (I believe in preparation to remove the Facebook requirement from the headset and offset potential losses as a result).

Are you going to get the PSVR2 headset? Or any others?

I can't believe they raised the prices of both the Meta Quest 2 and PS5 here recently.
I'm getting PSVR2. All of my games are on PlayStation so it's what makes sense for me.

I think in the case of the Quest 2 it is for the removal of the Facebook account requirement that everyone has been begging them to remove for years now. Removing it means they throw away a ton of advertising data and options that of course harms shareholders and revenue capabilities. The sheer amount of data farming the Quest 2 does is insane, but if they're removing that and instead you pay with cash rather than cash + your data then I think I prefer paying a bit extra.

Though I guess we'll see how accurate that is. If it's an increased price for the sake of increasing prices alongside the rest of the economy and offers nothing to the consumer, then it'll suck.

Lol, this looks so real. We came a long way since Need for Speed 2 SE with 3DFX patch for my first 3D accelerator card. Feels like yesterday...

We've come sooo far! Back in the day, those kind of graphics looked great, but we had yet to see what was within the future of gaming. I can only imagine how much further they'll be pushing realism the more we progress forward in time.

decorating that vehicle with hive family is super cool dude. I imagine that there could already be one out there like this or there will be very soon

If anybody on Hive gets a Lambo, they've absolutely gotta get a livery like this. I mean, my photos that I shared today are proof that it can look sexy.

My son drove a Lambo a few days ago. He was so scared. These pictures are dope.

Thanks man.
Your son probably works hard as hell at that place he works, but the reward of getting to be around exotic cars and sometimes even drive them... that really just cannot be topped, at least from a car enthusiast’s perspective.

There are so many people still asking that question. Up to us to show them the way.

Hive and Lamborghini are a match made in heaven.

The car looks amazing, and to customize hive on it, it another level of advertising hive to the public.
The really nice

They are beautiful photos, I have nothing against posting multiple photos of car designs, they are amazing, I think you have opened a door because I had not seen photos of video games in Liketu.

I will definitely throw myself into the photo mode editor in Forza Horizon 5 to see if anything interesting comes out.

Designing in general I'm really bad, I have a very weird idea of aesthetics lol, but something will come out for sure.

!PIZZA

Regular gaming screenshots may not be very exciting for a Liketu post, but shots like these that could be looked at as a real photo, I think work perfectly for the platform. A lot of games have a dope photo mode, but I promise nothing tops GT7 in terms of tools and features.

Tough for any Nintendo console to keep up with the power of PlayStation, especially a DS. Nintendo is still undeniably fun to play even if it's not as pretty.

Yeah... if only. I wouldn't say it's totally impossible many years down the road. I just hope all cars are not electric by the time I can afford a dream car like this. I love the feel and sound of gas guzzlers, electric may be faster, but they aren't exciting in terms of the audible tone.

That's great, man. Hahah if I ever get a real car, I might put a Hive skin on it. I didn't know there was such a posing feature in the game, you got some great shots.

I don't have a Hive sticker on my current car, but then again I don't put stickers on my car. A whole wrap like this though would be cool, although very expensive even without it being a Lambo.

I agree. If it becomes a trend in the coming years, everyone will stick something on their car and we can get a Hive wrap.

That looks like an awesome car dude lol love the hive logo on it! I miss those games haha, GT was one of my favorites for sure! I was a huge fan of Midnight Club as well, played that one extensively for a while! Still got it in my box with the games that I've kept over the years.

Scrolling through some of your old videos, enjoying the different ones like spending too much time on Hive and some others.

Midnight Club was great! So were the Test Drive games.

That’s awesome you’ve been going through my catalog of videos. I’ll talk about basically anything 🤣
