I did not expect that chasing waves could be this fun!

It was Sunday afternoon when I decided to go to the beach. Lately, I have been feeling off. Everyday felt like a struggle to be happy. I felt less motivated, less energy and I just felt tired.

But I know this is just a short period in life I have to go through. There just some beautiful days and the not so beautiful days. I was on the latter situation. I think, I just need to recharge and reset my mind, go on to take a break and emerge with nature. Nature is my powerbank.

The beach is one of my go to place when I want to recharge my life batteries. There is just something about the beach and the sea that neutralizes my negative energies.

So I went to the beach that afternoon. It was windy and waves were crashing furiously into the shore. That sound the waves produced created this euphoric sensation in my ears. Every wave sound crashing to the shore is like a music ensemble's masterpiece no one can replicate and as the wind blows smoothly on my face. I felt solace.

I remained sitting on the beach for quite a while. It was fun watching the waves until I decided to take some snaps of it. I preferred to get an up close shots of it.

I was hesitant to begin because I might drop my phone into the water. That would be a problem that will cost me not only the joy I felt that moment but also my money. Haha!

Anyhow, I managed to just go for it.
I started to position myself in a way that I could take close photos of the waves even before it crashes into the shore. My first attempts were a failure but, I started also to have more fun doing it. The adrenalin rushing through my veins as I try hard to get that perfect shot while escaping from the waves that might catch my phone to its demise was euphoria in the next level. 😄 My heart was pounding as I run away from the waves while holding my phone so tightly so I would not drop it. It was scary but exciting. 😁

I manage to take a few shots which were good enough for me. I enjoyed reviewing the photos and applied simple edits.

For a long time, I haven't felt the adrenalin that comes with trying new things and new adventures. Catching waves for photos made me feel that again. I got the recharge I need 100% that day.

How about you. How do you recharge your life batteries?

I wish I could experience this with the ocean waves. Sounds like the experience is really rejuvenating. Someday I'll be by the seaside with my feet in the sand. I dream of chasing the waves

I guess you live in a place far from the ocean? I hope you can experience it soonest. It's therapeutic. Have a beautiful day!
