Monday. I was energized. Yet again my daughter was excited too as she is returning to school and have her face to face classes back. That would be tomorrow, Wednesday. Yesterday was likewise our orientation (Parent's Orientation) before the kids return to school. Our meeting began at 2 in the afternoon. Around 10 in the morning, the breeze beginning to whip - more grounded and getting more grounded. The downpour followed. It began with a drizzle and got heavier as the minutes passed. Storm Florita was on its way. What an incredible timing, yeah? There was sufficient time during school vacation and this was the day it landed. 12 noon, the sky was getting hazier, the road was covered with water. I was somewhat stressed since I don't own a vehicle myself and I travel from our house to my daughter's school. That is a town away - a 20-minute drive trip.

I got to school 20 minutes before 2pm. The rain won't quit pouring, the breeze won't stop blowing hard. I decided to stop at the school chapel (it's a Catholic school) for a quick visit. I saw one of my co-parent when I passed on the chapel and we both headed straight to the gathering place which is the school gym. Strict health protocols was additionally stringently observed. We needed to wear facemasks, go to through temperature scanners, disinfect our hands and register before we get inside the gymnasium.

During the orientation, the school discussed about the guidelines of the school and everything about the kids' activities, class timetables, and stuff like those. Right after that, the wind was getting cruel blowing hard trying blending with the rain. I was soaking wet walking through the school gate. Prior to getting to the leave, I stopped at the school bookstore located close to the gate to get my daughter a pair of gala uniform and one PE uniform. These 2 sets cost me over a thousand pesos. I just paid 9,000 pesos for her books alone a week ago. Need to crush somewhat more earnestly for more school costs. Obligations.

4pm, my hired trike driver showed up at school. I got inside the trike and in spite of the fact that it was closed, I actually got wet. This storm is somewhat brutal. 4:20pm, I arrived home wet and safe. Yes, I had umbrella.

Around early evening last night was the point at which the storm Florita started raging. The wind got much more grounded until dawn. When I got up today, my yard was an insane wreck. I just got done with cleaning a little a while ago and presently the downpour is on its way again. Oh, well.
