day3 with the new toy ... Looking for insects ...

Good day to you all , friday night and the weekend is finally here .

If you have no clue what i mean with new toy i suggest to read my post from yesterday

https://ecency.com/hive-14396/@stresskiller/back-to-de-schammer-with

This morning after i brought my wife to work i decided to go and find some insects to see how that would go with the lens .

At first i tried this field with Poppies and Matricaria but the wind was to strong so no insect models to be found here only flowers and a blue sky .

1 )

2 )

3 )

4 )

So i got back in the car and decided to try my luck in the forrest , there was water there before when i was there soem weeks ago .

5 )

6 )

7 )

8 ) As you can see the ditch on the left was completly dry , bummer no water no insects here either .

9 ) time to look for other subjects .

10 ) but the only thing i see are Sunstars no insects .
I do like the Sunstars and i hope to get a chance to test them out in the dark over this weekend .

11 )

12 )

13 ) old tree trunk coverd in moss

14 ) no insects up there either

15 ) looking at the rust on the leaves there has been some kind of insect here .

16 )

17 ) big scar on the tree those tiny holes could be from insects , but where are they ?

18 ) and another sunstar , makes you wonder what this would look like in autumn colors .

19 ) alright one more sunstar lighting up these grass flowerheads but still no insects , i really need to find a new spot for those it seems .

Hello, happy afternoon.
The photographs were excellent.
And although you didn't get the insects, in theimages you can see the details in the flowers, trees and plants.
You must be very happy with yournew toy, I know well that we will continue to have great shots soon.
I really liked takes 8, 10, 12, 14 and 17.
My best wishes.

Yes, that's strange. Not many of them here either. But the photos are good without them :)

Uuu that Laowa is quite nice. I have 100mm and 25 mm. Love how pics turn out.. But that one that you have is amazing too. Wide angle. Amazing
