Back to De Schammer with my new toy
Two days ago i received my new lens and today i took it outside to test the abilities of this particular lens.
I posted the unpacking and first impressions here :

This morning after dropping the wife of at work i decided to go back to a nature reserve nearby called "De Schammer" .
I've been there before over a months ago with a Sigma 150-500mm lens
and posted the images here : https://ecency.com/hive-14396/@stresskiller/discovering-a-new-walking-photography
Today however we will go in to that area with a completely differend lens namely the LAOWA FF 15mm F4.5 Macro1:2 .
A wide angle macro lens , having done all kinds of macro photography over the years a new challenge is always a welcome thing for the creative mind .
I will number the photos so it wil be easier to ask questions about them or comment on them below the post .
All images are created with the Sony A7II camera .
1 ) When i parked the car i noticed something shinny in the hedge , it was a spider web covered the complete top layer of the hedge.
2 ) 50/50 light and shadow
3 ) I hope you can spot the ladybug in this photo
4 ) ahh here is the first sunstar , one of the nice characters of this lens
5 ) Low perspective not many cloud reflections from this point of view
6 ) a nice pond with reflections need to bring my tripod and make some timelapse here .
7 ) Golden grass dried by the heatwave and a little sunstar shing down on it .
8 ) A once nice picknick table vandalised and poorly maintained.
9 ) A thistle with a little sunstar
10 ) Jacobaea vulgaris / ragwort most farmers don't like it cause it is toxic to a lot of animals.
11 )
12 ) Rhinanthus angustifolius / greater yellow-rattle
13 ) Jacobaea vulgaris / ragwort
14 ) Heracleum mantegazzianum / giant hogweed
15 ) Typha latifolia / bulrush
16 ) More reflections on the water you can't really see it but the water was filled with Cyanobacteria / blue-green algae.
17 ) Tipulidae / crane fly got hit by a stinging nettle taking this you can still see the leaf on the left .
18 )
19 ) Apparently after drinking an Energy drink , people don't have the energy to clean up after themselves.
20 ) looks like someone from Featherd friends lost something.
21 ) Although on F4.5 it's a bit softer in the corners it helps in this picture to draw your eye to the center of the photo
22 )
23 ) testing the 10-point sunstars at F22 , seems to work will try more of this with some night photography during the weekend.
24 )
thats all for today , i will be doing a lot more with this lens this month .

yup , het is echt even andersom denken
When I'm reading and seeing your pictures makes my heart so calm and my mind feel relaxed despite of many challenges I've faced. Thank you for this!
that is always nice if my photos are able to destress someone from his / hers daily duties.
Your new lens has worked perfectly, all the photographs are amazing and beautiful, especially those where there are rays of sunlight as the main feature, but also those where there are reflections on the water, clear, sharp and with beautiful contrasts and colours. With a tripod, you will surely take even better photographs of that beautiful pond, and one of my favourites is number 7, the golden grass. Numbers 16 and 21 are spectacular views of nature.
It has been a great composition, I loved it. Thank you very much!

the reflections work great in that area in the early morning , will make some time lapse there again soon .
and nr 21 is my favourite too . thank you for your kind words , much appreciated.

Lovely photographs showing the originality in the picture.
Someone is going to have some clicking fun!
Some superb captures there, especially the spiders web. Have you used a drone before ?
Thank you Steve , no i have been looking at drones but the paperwork that comes with it and the price they cost to use my current camera and lenses is not funny .
After all, through your great and hard work, this deep forest is amazing. Yes, it is true that with a macro camera, you can take pictures year after year. I am thinking of a trip where I can enjoy such deep forests and beautiful roads with amazing views of nature. I am just continuing my efforts. But I am trying to focus completely on the trip.
