April Fools challenge 2026 | Day 4 Qurators photo quest

What is a fools challenge without a challenge within a challenge .

Good day , while i was thinking of what to post today after i didn't find any great photos outside, i cam across this Qurators photo quest that you can find here : https://peakd.com/qurator/@qurator/qurators-photo-quest-or-red

You still have a couple days if you like to participate the subject this week is RED as you can reed in the post above .

As the Qurator photo quest challenge requires the first photo to be the one that is participating here is mine :

1 ) 148kb file size

1 b ) same photoslightly differend image quality ... 955 kb file size

1 c ) full size 25246kb file size , it looks like they are automaticly downsized after uploading :(

And this is the story on how we got there.

This afternoon after bringing my wife to work , i went to a small road that i hhad discovered on google maps in the area to see if i could use it for time lapse photography and may be some wild flowers .

For the wild flowers it was a bit to early but i did find this grafitty at the end of the road .

3 ) As you can see in the photo rain clouds over head , but nice spot for time lapse , although some cars might think it's a speed trap 😁. that is the ramp of from the A28 onto the A1 .

4 ) a bit further down the road there was a lot of blossem , but to windy to get a decent close-up , on the right side of this path it's all blackberries they will start to flower within a month so i might get back for those.

5 )Since those were the only 3 decent photos i decided to look for something else , and that is when i came across the Qurato photo quest for this week ... after some thinking i decided to play with some red lights in our washing machine.

6 ) Using differend camera and apperture settings and also making sure that i wasn't visible in any of the reflections.

7 )and after doing several photos i decided to go with the most darkversion , let me know in the comments what vcersion you like btter.

8 ) i just had to try some blue light , i use a LCD light that is able to create almost any colour.

9 ) Then i thought what if i put all kind of red items on the table , but that just didn't work for me . So if you are going to participate try to make it something special.
