"Finding time to unwind and switch off is just as important as working hard."

- Francesca Hayward

It's been overwhelming weeks for me, spending weekdays at work and weekends mostly in the corners of Mei Foo where I currently live since I can't stroll down the road because of bad weather. Two rainy weekends straight isn't fun at all. Although it can help me binge-watching new and old movies, it doesn't help at all in satisfying my want to go somewhere in the countryside to visit hidden gems of Hong Kong.

Anyway, I was browsing my gallery for photos I could use here while lying on my bed with my laptop in front of me, watching movies I had already seen. It's pretty pointless, but it's the only thing I can do to pass the time since I'm using my phone for writing and I can't download new movies. I came across some quite old photos taken a year ago at the M+ Roof Garden. It brought back memories of trips I had taken with my travel companion, which was especially poignant given that we hadn't seen each other in months due to our busy holiday schedules. I kind of miss her, and I wish we could both have a holiday on the same day so we could travel again.

That day was just one of the few days we'd both spent time together before she became busy again. We were in the museum when we both opted to take a break at the Roof Garden. We were expecting just an ordinary rooftop but we didn't expect to be relaxed there.

The museum has now an admission fee, unlike a year ago, but everyone is free to visit this beautiful roof garden. An elevator can bring visitors up there, but na escalator is also provided for more access. I must say that this is a great spot to get a better glimpse of the scenic harbor. It's spacious so that families can have a walk.

There she is, my travel buddy enjoying her walk in this garden.

The amazing view of the Central Harbor is just right in front of it. It was foggy that day after the heavy rain and the skyline covered with fog is just just a beauty to behold. As if clouds went down the horizon to touch those skyscrapers.

The view of the ports and Cultural District is on the right. It's quite peaceful to see it with only a few people passing by the walkways because this is one of the most crowded places every weekend. But since it rained, museums became crowded more than the outdoor spots.

And it isn't just the harbor view that is beautiful here but as well as the flowers and other plants. It wouldn't be called a roof garden without such. So this place is truly relaxing with beautiful plants and a scenic view of the harbor. It's probably prettier here at night.

There are benches provided for resting. I was looking at the enormous museum when my friend took this shot. The architecture is pretty impressive and I kept praising it from inside to outside. There are also hung potted plants on the other side of the museum that add beauty to its wall.

I was looking at this photo when I realized that, I look like has an antennae like a butterfly or dragonfly, lol, because of the lamppost at my backdrop. It's pretty cute though.

I hope I could visit this museum again someday and spend more time exploring parts that I haven't visited yet, and of course, this roof garden too. But I do hope I could travel to a more beautiful place again soon, preferably in the countryside.

LEO Power Up Day!

We are halfway through the end of this month and there is one special event today. The lions and cubs definitely know this. Each 15th of the month marks the #LPUD and it's easier to remember it that way. It's not just payday, but LEO Power Up Day!

As part of my goal this year, another 150 LEO has been powered up. Maintaining at least 150 LEO is one of my primary Hive Goals, and I wish I could keep a good pace until the end of the year. Trading is my only way to accumulate more LEO and the bear market is somewhat helpful in this part.

Don't forget to power up guys! You still have long hours to do so.

Are you part of the #Zealy campaign yet? If not, then tap this link and start doing your Quest.

Thanks for stopping by.

Two rainy weekends straight isn't fun at all.

In my opinion its like you are in a prison of nature. Anyone can feel bored in such kind of environment for a long time.
Your shared place is looking nice.

By the way, Congratulations for successfully power up Leo 🙂.
