Fire Art + Viva Magenta + Photography Art

Usually I don't remember my night dreams. Sometimes, though, I recall some details when I move back to a more conscious state of mind in the morning.

When I woke up today, I had one vision, one word - fire.

Now, I suspect you may have already forgotten that the color of the year 2023 is "Viva Magenta". Well, I have not.

One of the components, describing creativity, is combination. So I decided to combine some unpublished so far, photos, that are closer to the remnants of my dream, with the color of the year. Frozen moments from one of my many encounters with my favorite fire poi artists...

Let's see how this comes out...

Those are all long exposure photographs, and all of them but the last one I also used a strobe, that was second-curtain-synced.

Your photos sure look like a dream. This long exposure is so apt for depicting all the ephemeral things, the ones you don't remember well, the ones you don't even know happened, all the indefinable, all the flexible and changeable things, all that change their shape, all that slip through your fingers, just like dreams... And this color only emphasizes this effect.
Btw, the first picture is very interesting to me because in the background I see a fountain. And there, IN this fountain, a dancing human figure seems to be visible... But such scenes are so typical of dreams. 😊
