| Hello, friends! I’ve really missed sharing my black-and-white works — photographs taken on the streets of the city and beyond, when you just catch a moment, pull out your phone, and later at home work on the image, trying through the black-and-white format to convey its true spirit, hidden or obvious meaning, to find a nugget in it, like a gold prospector searching for specks or even a lump of gold in the sand; I’ve truly missed this process, so I decided to try coming back, and only time will show how successful it will be. Today I want to share three photographs: two of them were taken eight days apart — on September 8 and September 16 — both showing my wife as we went to the store, first to choose laminate and then doors, and although the place was almost the same, the weather had already changed — at the beginning of September it was still warm, but a week later it got colder and rainy. The third photo is of a bicycle near the sports field where my son was practicing football, and I can say that the bicycle ties all three works together, because in the first two there’s a bike path with its stylized image, and in the third there’s the bicycle itself. Still, I won’t name the post in this way, because for me the more important theme is time: time when I wasn’t publishing new works, and time that, I hope, will heal all wounds and allow me to do again what I truly enjoy. | Привіт, друзі! Я скучив за публікаціями своїх чорно-білих робіт — фотографій, зроблених на вулицях міста і не тільки, коли випадково ловиш момент, витягуєш телефон, а вже вдома працюєш над зображенням, намагаючись через чорно-білий формат передати його справжній дух, прихований чи очевидний сенс, знайти у ньому самородок, як золотошукач у піску; за цим процесом я дуже скучив, тож вирішив спробувати повернутися, і лише час покаже, наскільки воно буде успішним; сьогодні хочу поділитися трьома фотографіями: дві з них зроблені з різницею у вісім днів — 8 та 16 вересня — на обох зображена моя дружина, коли ми йшли в магазин обирати спочатку ламінат, а потім двері, і хоч місце майже те саме, але й погода вже змінилася — на початку вересня ще було тепло, а за тиждень похолодало й пішов дощ, а третє фото — це велосипед біля спортивного майданчика, де мій син займався футболом, і можна сказати, що саме велосипед поєднує всі три роботи, адже на перших двох є велодоріжка зі стилізованим його зображенням, а на третій — він сам, та все ж називати пост у цьому ключі не буду, бо важливішим для мене є час: час, коли я не публікував нові роботи, і час, який, сподіваюся, загоїть усі рани та дозволить знову робити те, що мені до вподоби. |
