#Monomad Challenge - São Barros Queirós Street, Lisbon, Portugal

Welcome to my post for the #Monomad competition

Today I want to share with you one of the greatest assets that the city of Lisbon has, and has been gaining. Interculturality. Regardless of the political spectrum or our ideologies, one thing is certainly noticeable: the openness of the city of Lisbon to the world. A city blessed by its location, but not so much by its economic flourishing, it is constantly striving to get the best out of interconnection.

Now 45 years old, I remember perfectly my trips to Lisbon with my father when I was 5 yo. Just like today, we used to take the train back then, almost obligatorily, when I was just over five years old. The journey was always an expectation of what I would find. I soaked up everything I saw and captured every detail with the utmost attention... just like a kid does today when he stares at the screen of his tablet or his parents' cell phone.

Nowadays, Lisbon flourishes with the presence of various European and African communities and even tourists from across the ocean.

It has always been, and I think it will always be, a source of absolute interest to me and, of course, one of my greatest pleasures in photography.
