Structures, forms and buildings - Monomad Challenge

Today I present this series of photographs where architecture takes center stage, particularly in this case, showcasing the architecture of the city of Valencia in Venezuela. It shares the same name as Valencia in Spain, but on this side of the Americas. This city, nestled among valleys, is in perpetual bloom throughout the year. Of course, being a very important city for Venezuela, it has always boasted great architectural works.

From the colonial era and Neoclassical to modern architecture, one can appreciate the diverse styles found in this beautiful city. However, like any Venezuelan city, it experienced stagnation due to the economic crisis, which halted its development. Even so, it saw significant progress for many years, perhaps until around the 2010s.

Some of the older buildings have been restored, while others remain as vestiges of the past, existing only in the collective memory of those who lived in these places for many years. They remain in everyone's words simply as memories.
