Hello again everyone. I hope that you guys are having an amazing day. Weekend is just around the corner and I am feeling that it will be a great weekend.

Today I wanted to share some of my shoot that I did few years back. This was an impromptu shoot that I had with Lora. During this time I had the Canon 1Dx mkii and the 24-70 F4 L lens from canon. I borrowed these gear from a friend, a Canon ambassador during that time.

The camera body was heavy, adding the weight of the lens it was like lifting a brick while moving around. This was one of the best DSLR camera during that time. Anyone with the Canon 1Dx mkii will be considered "Master level". Not many people can afford the camera back then. It was an expensive and a premium camera and only the rich can buy, that was my thinking during that time. Holding the camera and taking picture with it was my dream come true.

So I took the camera to the beach, and with Lora, I took some of her photos with the camera. It was challenging because of the weather and my positioning with Lora. I tried some backlight shoot and it was a failure, until I used one of my reflector to reflect some of the light from the back to illuminate her face.

It was a good decision to always bring my reflector with me during an outdoor shoot. I did not have any off camera flash or any of the portable strobe during this time. So available light is my best friend.

As for the Quality of the image for me it was great during the time. The raw files has a good dynamic range and I can pull out much more detail from the shadows and highlight. Overall, I am satisfied with the result.
