Bad Mood Jamaican Sky - Monomad Challenge
Hail to the Hive!
This may be one of the last drone flights I do but boy was I happy with the ominous skies today.
I heard a few drops of rain fall and then there was a pause. I looked up and caught a glimpse of a cloud formation, dark and brooding, and thought to myself ‘ can i get on the roof for a quick flight before the deluge?…..YES!’
So quick as you like, drone assembled and I clambered up onto the roof. Still a few drops were falling but the sky looked so awesome I was going to risk it.
Up went the bird and I set about capturing as much as I could before the rain came down proper.
I whizzed about, rotating and circling. The trigger control for taking shots comes into its own In circumstances like these. Snap snap snap.
A bigger drop of rain landed on my freshly shaved head with a big splash and I took this as my final warning to land the bird and get off the roof.
120m,110,90,80, she was coming down but so was the rain now. 70,60 ,50. Drops falling on my face now as I loked up squinting into the sky at the descending whirly bird.
30,20 qp..touchdown. No time to turn it off. Scooped up and down the ladder just in time
But worth it!

Oh My God. How close your drone and that circle sir ?? This is amazing nature but also scary, because I never seen this in my country. I love the first, second and fifth one. That's amazing. Be careful sir. Blessing
The natural scenery in black and white that you display is truly extraordinary.
