No crop, just the frame / #monomad challenge / [ING/ESP]

Eating an empanada and stealing a photograph of another person doing the same thing was how the photo walk I did with some friends a few weeks ago began. All of us are enthusiasts of analog photography, each carrying cameras loaded with film. Even so, some of us could not resist the chance to shoot a few frames in digital as well. Here I share part of the result.

The exercise was to photograph without cropping. Only using the original framing that was composed in the scene. With a 35mm lens I had to get quite close to achieve the photos I wanted, but that was part of the charm. I will gradually share more images from this outing, which was a lot of fun. Even though many photos get discarded, the ones that remain always feel more rewarding.

Comiendo una empanada y robando una fotografía a otra persona que estaba en la misma tarea comenzó la salida fotográfica que hice con unos amigos hace unas semanas. Todos entusiastas de la fotografía analógica, cada uno con sus cámaras cargadas de película. Aun así, algunos no perdimos la oportunidad de hacer también algunas imágenes en digital. Y aquí les muestro parte de ese resultado.

El ejercicio era fotografiar sin recortar. Usar únicamente el encuadre original que se componía en la escena. Con un 35mm tuve que acercarme bastante para conseguir las fotos que quería, pero eso también era parte del encanto. Poco a poco iré compartiendo más imágenes de esta salida que resultó muy divertida. Aunque se descartan muchas fotos, las que quedan siempre saben mejor.
