Greetings hivers,

Classic cars are, I believe, one of the most photographed subjects in Cuba, especially by tourists who see in them true machines of time. They carry decades of history in their metal, and their presence transforms any ordinary street into something special. Architecture is another element that appears constantly in photographs of Cuba, both the colonial structures and the current visible decay. There is something deeply attractive about these spaces for the photographer’s eye.

Today I want to share a small sample from my latest walk through Old Havana. These are simple moments, fragments of a place that never stops offering something to observe. I hope you like them.

Los autos clásicos son, creo, de las cosas más fotografiadas en Cuba, sobre todo por los turistas que ven en ellos auténticas máquinas del tiempo. Llevan décadas de historia en su metal, y su presencia transforma cualquier calle común en algo especial. La arquitectura es algo que también se repite mucho en las fotos que vemos de Cuba en redes, tanto la colonial como la decadencia visible en la actualidad. Hay algo muy atractivo en estos espacios para el ojo del fotógrafo.

Hoy les voy a compartir una pequeña muestra de la última salida por La Habana Vieja. Son momentos simples, fragmentos de un lugar que nunca deja de ofrecer algo que observar. Espero les gusten.
