Hello Hivers,

Today I want to share a series of photographs I took on the street, where the main characters were some little cats hiding, running, and playing around the corners. I’ve always thought that stray cats carry an air of mystery, as if they were invisible owners of the city, only revealing themselves for brief moments.

Following them with the camera becomes a small adventure: one hides behind a wall, another jumps to a window, and the most curious one stares back at me with those shining eyes that seem to ask why I’m chasing it. In the harshness of the streets, they still manage to find a space to play, sleep, and survive.

These images are my attempt to capture those fleeting moments, that free energy cats possess and that endlessly fascinates us.

Hoy quiero compartirles una serie de fotografías que realicé en la calle, donde los protagonistas fueron unos pequeños gatos que se escondían, corrían y jugaban entre las esquinas. Siempre he pensado que los gatos callejeros llevan consigo un aire de misterio, como si fueran dueños invisibles de la ciudad, dejándose ver solo por instantes.

Seguirlos con la cámara se convierte en una pequeña aventura: uno se esconde tras un muro, otro salta a una ventana y el más curioso se queda mirándome con esos ojos brillantes que parecen preguntar por qué lo sigo. En medio de la dureza de la calle, ellos encuentran su espacio para jugar, dormir y sobrevivir.

Estas imágenes son un intento de atrapar esos momentos fugaces, esa energía libre que tienen los gatos y que tanto nos atrae.

You said it yourself, cats rule the city, but they are very mysterious, invisible, and only show themselves when they want to. Even in a house, they are the masters, although we humans may not see it that way. They are also natural protectors. What would the world be like without cats? I don't even want to imagine it, because I adore them.

Your photographs are fantastic. I know how long it takes, or rather, how challenging it is to find cats in such good positions as the shots you bring us. Vos lo dijiste, los gatos son dueños de la ciudad, pero son muy misteriosos, invisbles y se muestran cuendo ellos desean, incluso en una casa son dueños de la casa, aunque los seres humanos no lo veamos así. También son protectores naturales, que sería el mundo sin gatos, no quiero ni imaginarlo, porque los adoro.

Tus fotografías son fantásticas, se del tiempo que lleva o más bien ese desafío de encontrar gatos y en posiciones tan buenas como las capturas que nos traes, son maravillosas, hasta parece que ellos han modelado para vos. Los gatos son geniales. Creo que muy superiores a otras mascotas. Ellos no mecesitan para nada a los humanos, solo nos permiten disfrutar de ellos. Un antiguo conductor de un programa sobre naturaleza en cuba. Tenía un decir, "la naturaleza creo al gato para que el humano pudiera acariciar a un tigre"

Creo que tiene mucha razón, los gatos son mágicos y además conexión de mundos, me maravillan siempre, tengo a dos viviendo conmigo que me permiten saber de esos mundos. Gracias a vos!

La última foto del gato está brutal brother, que buenaaaa, me encanta el desenfoque todo!!! Verdad que los gatos callejeros siempre dejan buenas fotos, excelente trabajo 👍
