Every Space Gains Importance

I'm pleased to be present again in your community. Sometimes personal reasons separate us, but we must move forward. Here I show you my black and white for the contest, on a very meaningful walk through downtown Caracas. My steps led me to the Science Museum, which reminded me of my high school years. It's very different from how I saw it before. It's now a sea of knowledge. Its educational spaces offer many alternatives. Through its exhibits and by leveraging technology, you can interact and explore every space in the museum.

The museum not only entertains visitors with its diverse themes, but also aims to educate and train the large student population that visits it, using strategies such as games to develop their skills.

My tour of this place is due to the fact that I've always been drawn to the Plaza de los Museos in Caracas, as several buildings that are part of our nation's history stand around it. And when we convert our images to black and white, we're taken back to colonial Caracas, its striking architecture highlighting the shapes and lines of a very clean and visually pleasing finish. This time, I wanted to tour the entire museum, detailing its columns and long hallways, and I came across the annex, where visitors can spend a pleasant time sipping a coffee or eating a snack amid an interesting conversation.

I've done it many times. This space also hosts live performances with guest artists, and it's a very enjoyable time. Away from the noise of the city, I want you to enjoy the images. With them, I'm participating in the Black and White Community's #monomad challenge.

Peace
These black and white Photos perfectly capture the timeless elegance of the museum's architecture. I love how you described its evolution into a modern "sea of knowledge."
What was the most surprising change you found since your high school visits?

@oadissin A new layout for the animals on display. Now, each section explains their characteristics and corresponding habitat in more detail, providing more insight. Previously, it was just a Natural History Museum; now, it's a Science Museum. There are sections where technological advances are displayed, where they educate us about earthquakes with graphics, and they have old seismological equipment on display, among other things. At the entrance, there was always an enormous, imposing bear, a children's attraction. Now, there's a giraffe, but the bear has a new location. And many more important things, where the visitor is captivated.
