| MONOMAD | Pressure... Cool-it!
It’s truly dreadful, and we should all be aware of it—not only to avoid pressuring others in any way, but also to prevent others from doing it to us.
Some people run these things full blast. It helps them unwind. But… there are places where even the simple act of cooling down in a room needs to be carefully planned.
Imagine that… you need to have the “heat-it or cool-it” chart at hand, by blocks. I haven’t the faintest idea which block I’m in. Well, it’s understandable if you’ve no clue what I mean. Let me explain: I learnt about it from someone who used to handle the switches at the power company. “Heat” means switch it on, “cool” means switch it off. …or at least that’s how I understood it at the time, when he explained it to me.
And this poor chap? He’s utterly switched off. Cold? Hot? Well, that’s something you’d have to ask him, really.
I was out on the street, feeling no pressure, simply doing what I enjoy—and I managed to take these photos for the #Monomad Challenge. I feel truly unsettled when someone tries to pressure me… yet I know I’ve pressured others at times too, and for that, I apologise. Still, what’s done is done, and the loss that follows is inevitable. Life is such a challenge… I believe our mission is to learn to live it in peace and harmony.
Someone told me I had to go and put pressure on the local Telecommunications Company office, so they’d finally sort out the issue with my stolen cable. Honestly, I no longer know what to do… everything feels so complicated.

Hi @nanixx, like you I am averse to pressuring anyone. But about the cable I have no idea what is the best thing to do. As for the pictures, my dear friend, they are very good. i love the one of Messi. It is not the one I like the most, but it is the one that tells me the most..... 🙃

Hello, tonight is one of those nights when you can't sleep because of the heat, so here I am, no pressure.
About the photo, I'll tell you that when I see Messi's name, I can't help but think about how uniform popular culture is around the world. The same "heroes" are shared in Cuba and Spain. On the other hand, it speaks to me of the great capacity of the "system" to standardise thought, and finally it tells me that magical thinking is intrinsic to human beings. I'm sure that for many people, wearing a Messi shirt makes them feel more important, as if something of Messi's "value" will rub off on them.
We live in a very uniform world... This is the summary of what that image tells me.

Do you see the second image where you are in a dark area? But there is light in the background... don't push or pressure yourself, but insist... insist until they get tired of seeing you insist... it worked for me in Argentina in a similar situation... insist!

It's incredible that the cable issue can't be resolved. Yesterday I spoke with someone to see if I could get it for you here. It's difficult, but there's always more to be done.
