Monomad: Urban light and shadow - with Camila [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

There are many photographers who do not advise to take pictures in the morning, this because of the strong sun and certainly if you ask me my opinion I would surely say the same, but there are times when for some reason you have to take pictures in the morning, so you have to have a little ingenuity to use this to your advantage, I hope you like these pictures with Camila.

Hay muchos fotógrafos que no aconsejan el hacer fotografías en la hora de la mañana, esto debido a lo fuerte del sol y ciertamente si me preguntaran mi opinión seguramente diría lo mismo, pero hay ocasiones donde por algún motivo toca hacer fotografías en un horario de la mañana, por eso hay que tener un poco de ingenio para usar esto a tu favor, espero que les gusten estas fotografías junto a Camila.

Camila and I had agreed to shoot indoors, but let's say that the place where the photos would be taken had not done the planning well for us and it was not possible, so we started to walk around looking for another place and we ended up taking these photos outdoors, this is a place that I have used before, but not in this way and I think it was a very original touch to take advantage of the high lights.

Camila y yo habíamos acordado el hacer fotografías en interiores, pero digamos que el lugar donde se harían las fotos no había hecho bien la planificación para nosotros y no se pudo, por lo que empezamos a caminar buscando otro sitio y terminamos haciendo estas fotografías en exteriores, este es un lugar que ya he usado antes, pero no de esta manera y me parece que fue un toque bastante original al aprovechar las altas luces.

I think that this site having a natural decoration where certain rays of light filtered through helped us a lot, because in this way the light was not so direct, it allowed us to focus on certain points where we really wanted the light and also helped us with a strong contrast in the photos, both for the lights and shadows and honestly I'm quite happy with the result.

Considero que al este sitio tener una decoración natural por donde se filtraban ciertos rayos de luz nos ayudó bastante, porque de esta manera la luz no era tan directa, nos permitió centrarnos en ciertos puntos donde realmente queríamos la luz y también nos ayudó con un contraste bastante fuerte en las fotos, tanto para las luces como las sombras y honestamente estoy bastante contento con el resultado.
