Monomad: Seconds of calm at the skatepark [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

Most of the time when I share photos I take at the skatepark, I try to focus on moments when the skaters are doing tricks; I guess that's one of the most exciting things to watch, but this time, I decided to share some photos of calm moments; it's interesting to see it from this perspective too.

En la mayoría de ocasiones que comparto fotografías que hago en el skatepark, intento centrarme en estos momentos donde los protagonistas hacen trucos; supongo que es una de esas cosas más llamativas de verlos, pero en esta ocasión, decidí compartir algunas fotografías de calma; es interesante también verlo desde esta perspectiva.

For those who have witnessed this type of event, you will know that participants are always skating from one place to another, so they are constantly moving, but there are certain brief moments, before they start skating, when they take a couple of seconds to visualize what they are going to do, and others when they take a couple of seconds on the skateboard before moving forward.

Para aquellos que han presenciado este tipo de eventos, sabrán que los participantes siempre van de un lugar para otro patinando, por lo que están en constante movimiento, pero hay ciertos pequeños momentos, antes de empezar a patinar, en que se toman un par de segundos para visualizar lo que harán y otros, que se toman un par de segundos en la patineta antes de avanzar.

I took these photographs quite late in the day; it was already getting dark and there wasn't much light, but even so, I think these photographs look pretty good. They allow you to see the subjects, they have areas of importance, and they create an interesting contrast from my perspective.

Estas fotografías las hice en un horario un poco tarde; ya estaba anocheciendo y no contaba con mucha luz y, aun así, creo que estas fotografías se ven bastante bien, permiten ver a los protagonistas, tienen zonas de importancia y hacen un contraste interesante desde mi perspectiva.
